We experienced before twice we have defective VFD, its not because of the Motor. Any abnormalities of the Motor will have a fault alarm on the VFD,If the main breaker always trips its really the VFD was the problem, possible cause are the contactor Single Phase supply to the VFD its not advisable to switch On and Off frequently the fan because it might damage the VFD, VFD is electronic device very sensitive to the Power supply, Power Surge can also Damage the VFD..

I think he's reading the resistance from the vfd and as it is low he rule it to be broken then he went to the motor and checked the coils and they were good so it must be the vfd
Start with a simple diagram and then try more sophisticated. No one will teach you step by step. The school is for that. On board you will have to learn all over again. Reefers diagrams are not too sophisticated, believe me. I am also ETO with Maersk...bear in mind that on board sometimes you will find wires that are not on the schematics.

As far as I can remember al67 is for humidity sensor failure. If your cargo is frozen goods or a chill cargo which doesn't have humidity setting then just ignor the alarm
I'm betting you did this, but the proper procedure for verifying a "dead" or isolated circuit is called "live, dead, live" testing. Check the circuit being tested, verify the meter by testing a live (preferably low voltage) circuit, then again testing the isolated or "dead" circuit.

Fault was found on the back ventilation of the VFD, it is was fully covered with dust and moisture. Board got burnt. Thank you for the support

Jake , Did you alter the circuit to make it ‘Direct on Line’ starting ? without the VSD the start up current must be very large no ?

That is possible pero ma receive kasi namin ang new motor after 4 days kaya mas ok na yung stay nalang doon yung vfd ng isa.
