    Hi Chi, I have bow legs and external tibial torsion. When I stand with my feet straight, my knees are slightly going inward. When I consciously try to keep my feet straight during standing, walking, biking, I start to feel some dull ache and soreness in my knees. It feels unnatural because it feels like I'm twisting my leg in a way it's not suppose to twist. Though I do feel more stability and power when my feet are straight and i'm pressing down the inner side of the foot. It's just my knees start to feel weird. Is it normal to feel this in the knees when trying to correct bow legs? Or should I just keep my feet slightly out for the time being and do the yoga poses that don't affect my knees? Thanks

    I want to know how long should we do these excercises bcz I tried few excercises for couple of months and it got corrected but after few months it comes to normal bow leg shape

    Mam i have a bowed legs problem too ....i m 23 ...and ask many doctors , physiotherapist etc they told me to do a surgery thats an only opt ....but I don't want to do it ..... actually my right leg is fine ....but my left leg is bit curve not much ....but it looses my confidence ....plz help me mam ...does this yoga will help me ....if yes within how many days will it be cured ??

      Mr Rohan, thank you for the feedback. Please don't lose hope. I know that surgery is not the only solution. One of my clients had surgery 3 years ago and is still suffering its consequences. Please tell me, were you born bow-legged or did it develop later as an adult? Is your left femur, that's your thigh bone, actually curved? I'm happy to help.

      @@TheBodyConditioner no mam i wasn't born with bowed leg it developed later as an adult mam ... actually i m an athlete and a footballer so i used to play and run toooo much and after that i developed bowed legs ....yes my left femur is little too little bit bend ..but the leg bend comes to notice after my knee bone that is starting of my shin bone ...that two to three cm bone is very much bend and i think that creates a scene

      Good day Mr Vicky, I'm very sorry to hear that. If your right leg is bowed then your left leg may be overcompensating. This means that left leg has more work to do in certain aspects. But your whole body may be out of balance. How are your shoulders and neck? How is your back? Do you feel tight or stiff in these areas? This yoga sequence is already a very good start for you. Try to practice it every other day (that means after one practice day you take a day off) and then you continue the following day. When you do the exercise with the book, try to press harder with the right leg. When you move your knee to the opposite shoulder, stay longer on the left side.       I'm the same. i'm only slightly bow-legged. about a 1.5" gap between the knee's when standing. I've always hated my legs. i've never worn shorts and always have to wear loose jeans to hide my bow legs, I hate it. Think i've always been bowlegged. will exercises help? or is surgery the only option?
