I think the craziest thing is when Dan made his team, he made his team's motto "They can't stop us all" and it was really sweet seeing a hyper offensive team in the tournament
The one thing that definitely swung in RTs favor is he was planning for more counters to his team and made preps for it and then the counters just weren't present from what I remember
I cant imagine the amount of respect RT has racked up by now in Jan's book, insane improvements from the HeartGold nuzlocke. I still miss Arson and Yeetle.
As someone who's a big fan of RT's content and loved watching his big bear just tear its way through the competition, I gotta admit it gave me a lot of glee seeing the other side of that, and the sheer terror that Ursaluna instilled.

Hey Jan! Just wanted to say I finished my first nuzlocke last night, something I wouldn't have wanted to do without your videos! I played Crystal and beat Red with a team of level 53-60. Looking forward to doing more difficult ones in the future!
Do a nuzlocke tournament, but if a pokemon dies, you lose that member for the next round. Each player starts with say 10 pokemon and then by the finals match, it'll be two players with very few mons left.
Or, even better: whenever a pokemon dies, nobody can use that pokemon for the rest of the tournament, and everyone has to rebuild their team each round. It starts with vaguely standard teams and gets progressively more bonkers as it continues

If you want a decent challenge, Nexomon is honestly a pretty tough Pokemon-esque game. Trying a Nuzlocke in that is honestly incredibly difficult.
