@@Kaiu24 how do you think k this filter would effect cameras low light ability? I have Sony A7iii which is very good in low light. Indoor ceremonies/receptions with low light, would it be good idea to not use this lens then or ya think it won’t really affect it
Great video. I do think it is a neat 2 in 1 filter…. I notice mist filters will lose contrast and with that saturation which I do not like a lot of the time. I think this filter “fixes” that part of it mist filter for me.
It uses the new Chroma glass apparently which makes it much more colour accurate and reduces the loss of saturation like you say. So far it really has been great to use
Appreciate you talking about the darkening. Most other folks just do test shots and seem to equal the levels out with and without but every time I put it on a lose a few stops of light.
@@abandonbourbon Yes I noticed this too and had to mention it because it does impact the lenses you can use and settings slightly, especially shooting in low light (where the filter is most effective ironically if you want bloom from nearby light sources)
What’s Up K24, Im Not Educated At All On Filters… However, All My Video Content I Record Outdoords… I’m Looking For A Good VIR- ND Filter And A Polarized Lens Filter … I’m Working With A Sony A6600 My Lenses Are: Sony E16-55mm 2.8 And Sony E15mm F1.4.. Thank You…
You can have a look at the new PolarPro Peter McKinnon filters that are VND + Ploariser. They do one version with a mist and another without mist so you can choose to have that or not. Alternatively, you can try K&F concept Nano X Pro series filters that do that combo too and are very good if you dont want to spend as much. In terms of size, get one for your largest lens and get a step up ring to adapt it to your smaller lens (if required)
What is that 3 in 1 filter?
Good review should of had some example pictures though
Would this be a good filter to also use for portraits/weddings
@@iamhollywood555 yes for weddings it could be very nice as it adds a super soft look to your portraits

@@iamhollywood555 they very slightly effect the exposure in my experience. If there is ample lighting i would say its not a massive difference

@@Kaiu24 I’m super curious of the effects in harsher mid day portraits. Would love to take that highlight edge off the skin :)
