One of my favorite watches that I've purchased is the CITIZEN PROMASTER CA0710-91L. Basically an Eco drive Dive Chronograph. At about A$400 I think it's a good value piece. It's quite a large watch, but feels well made and has multiple buttons to push when your bored :)

It's a great watch... AT 44.5mm it's perfect size! And yep, I love the fidget application of most watches too.

I have the Seiko Prospex Speedtimer with the sort of sand colored dial. Solar powered. It's $675 retail but can be had at a discount. Pretty cool watch. My only other chronograph is the Daytona. Not too comfortable wearing the Daytona walking around the city though.

I would love a Daytona. Sadly I’ll be waiting quite some time I think. It’s also sad that it’s such hot property you can wear it in public. Whereabouts are you again? I think you could wear it here.

@@AussieWristWatch I live in San Francisco. I do wear when I just drive to and from work sometimes. I used to wear my Day-Date walking around in the city. Too dangerous now

I own a few from lower $ Invicta chronos to the Omega Speedmaster.. I have a Tag, 2 Tissot, the Longines Conquest, a Hamilton Scuba, a couple of Zodiacs, a Fortis, Yema Rallygraf, Certina, some Swatches, the Seagull, a Seiko and an Adina. Didn't necessarily buy most of them because they were chronographs but enjoyed the brand and the aesthetic. Happy New Year and BTW did you look at the one I mentioned in a previous comment that you were interested in?

Tag Heuer excel in quartz Chronographs.
Quartz is the best choice at this price point IMO.
Seiko SpeedTimer (not newest version) is surprisingly cool looking despite its small size.

Yeah I would agree that Tag do a great quartz watch. My formula 1 is top notch.

Have 2 chronographs but I still think it is the least useful complication in the 21st century

Yep, a rotating bezel on a dive watch is much more useful day to day.
