I actually much preferred the whole "All souls go to the same place" interpretation where Jedi see becoming one with the force as heaven and Sith view it as hell since they lose their individuality. There's more of a cosmic irony to it, especially since the Sith then build their own hells trying to avoid such a fate.
I agree that's a very fitting way of explaining the star wars afterlife. I still find it pretty depressing that only people that learn the force ghost technique can go to the afterlife, not sure if that was true for legends tho or if it was just clone wars

However, I think it's like in order to do it, you must dedicate yourself to the force itself, so that once you become a ghost you can only do what the force wills, which is why they never do much.

I honestly wish in Legends we had a horror series about Luke sending a team of Jedi to uncover the mysteries of Unknown Regions and horrors of otherspace. Two things I would love more in legends is more criminal syndicate stories and SW cosmic horror stuff.
The high republic actually goes a little into the cosmic horrors with the leveller. Something that makes especially jedi panic. I don't want to spoiler anything big though.

I wonder how much wacky stuff from legends will ever be reintroduced into canon. They seem to be going really hard on the marvel-esque structure at the moment which isn't leaving a huge amount of room for this kind of stuff which is a shame. The Fallen Order games are probably our best bet seeing as they've actually explored the ancient past and hopefully will continue to do so.
The scene from The solo story where they run into a giant creature and a black hole thing in the fog around that mining planet is one of my favorite scenes visually speaking from the recent star wars movies

This is most definitely the way. But I honestly think Ecks been dodging this topic for the longest because he wants to see the final version of SE. Dude probably didn't wanna make 2+ videos of him retracting what he told fans with certainty just a few weeks ago. And it'd be great to see him break down sections of the novel in parts on this channel or discuss it on his podcast with his friend in depth. But I'm gonna be honest, he could only say so much in these videos before he loses people completely (not outta interest, but understanding) when discussing something like SE. I only think a fraction of the EU community even know about it currently and with the overwhelming mass of casuals in SW videos nowadays, they'd have no choice but to listen to something they have little to no context about. The Crystal Star…. Jeez that was a tough read. Planet of the Twilight for me was the worst EU read. As much as I love the EU, I,Jedi and the X Wing Series are my favourites, we did have the occasional dud.
The Anti-Force from what I know so far is perverted and arcane practice of The Force that is used by creatures and entities from a dark dimension created by creators of terrible beings like Abeloth and The World Razer.
The only one I know for sure that's made of pure dark side energy incarnate is the monolith creatures created by Sith Emperor Vitiate. But if we're talking corrupted and mutated by the dark side for malicious + scientific purposes then (sheeeeeesh) we got a long list to go down.

I just don't buy the whole idea of Hyper Rapture at all. Hyperspace travel is very common in the Star Wars galaxy and has been so for tens of thousands of years. If this were a real thing, even a rare one, it wouldn't be a rumor. With that many people traveling hyperspace on a regular basis over that long a period, there would have been many cases. Even if it were very rare, ther would be a large number of new cases every day. It would be a well-known phenomenon and starship crews would take precautions against it. The most obvious and simplest precaution would be to simply close or darken the windows so that people can't look out. They never do this though. I see no benefit to the crew being able to see outside while in hyperspace to counterbalance the risk that would be involved.
A pure entity of the dark side just sounds like the light side of the force to me. Being purely force means there isn't somebody imposing their will on it
I assume pure in this aspect refers to its (meta)physical existence of something made up entirely of or created from The Force. Entity's that fit this description are: Sel-Makor, Tenebrae, Sith Smoke Demons, The Old Ones, The Darker + Star Weirds, and countless other I can't remember and have yet to be identified/discovered...

The only one I know for sure that's made of pure dark side energy incarnate is the monolith creatures created by Sith Emperor Vitiate. But if we're talking corrupted and mutated by the dark side for malicious + scientific purposes then (sheeeeeesh) we got a long list to go down.

@@princeofpokemon2934 they appear in the MMORPG "Star Wars: The Old Republic" when the Sith Emperor to demonstrate his power and mastery in The Force. I always wondered if this was a twisted reference to the Judeo-Christian God creating monsters like the Leviathan and Behemoth as testaments to his power over Creation? Maybe its a reach but not one without a little merit to it.

@@princeofpokemon2934 I think the majority info we got on them comes from an in-game codex (encyclopedia). Their definitely called Monoliths, just checked, and they come in many sizes like rancor.

I just don't buy the whole idea of Hyper Rapture at all. Hyperspace travel is very common in the Star Wars galaxy and has been so for tens of thousands of years. If this were a real thing, even a rare one, it wouldn't be a rumor. With that many people traveling hyperspace on a regular basis over that long a period, there would have been many cases. Even if it were very rare, ther would be a large number of new cases every day. It would be a well-known phenomenon and starship crews would take precautions against it. The most obvious and simplest precaution would be to simply close or darken the windows so that people can't look out. They never do this though. I see no benefit to the crew being able to see outside while in hyperspace to counterbalance the risk that would be involved.

I assume pure in this aspect refers to its (meta)physical existence of something made up entirely of or created from The Force. Entity's that fit this description are: Sel-Makor, Tenebrae, Sith Smoke Demons, The Old Ones, The Darker + Star Weirds, and countless other I can't remember and have yet to be identified/discovered...
