    What I like about Milton, is not only is he very funny but he actually has the balls to get up and say his material. He knows some of it's basic, corny and almost child like but it works. A lot of comedians try to be too cutting edge and topical. Milton is a legend.

      shimmeister1062 yes, and he doesn’t rely on expletives and crude jokes

      Childish is often good.

      Yes defo. He's often childish, but also very clever. But most of all he really makes me laugh, more than most comedians. Well that's my theory. Thanks for reply.

    Went to see Milton in Nottingham a few years ago and his delivery is classic. You can see some jokes coming but they are still funny when he delivers them . I love the jokes where he explains the punchline to a member of the audience. A great comedian without any swearing!👍

    @adamharding7718 ปีที่แล้ว +6

    I love it when he repeats the theme of a previous joke and he then he pauses so the audience takes a second to realise 🤣 like with the shampoo and shamrock🤣

      Traditionally British schools are run by a Headmaster usually known as "The head", the second in charge is usually a Deputy Headmaster and the crowd presumed the punchline was going to be "The deputy" as in Sherrif's Deputy like in the USA but he said Mr Brown which was probably his name.

      Churches feature prominently in his life.
      He married Caroline CHURCH in 1986.
      And yes he is a practising Christian (and often performs in churches and at Christian festivals). The beauty with his act is he doesn’t have to modify any of his material.

      I find some British comedy funny. Jimmy Carr is one of my top 5 favorites. He's INCREDIBLY offensive sometimes, but he is so quick witted, that I can't help but love his style. There are several British comedians that are SO much better than this Milton guy. Frankie Boyle, John Cleese, Steven Fry are all British comedians that I actually enjoy watching. But this Milton guy is tough to watch without falling asleep. I feel like to be considered a great comedian, you have to tell jokes that don't pander to 5-year olds.
