@@imgettingold9407 I would disagree, the 6A is googles budget phone. The 60hz display on the 6A was slow compared to the A33 and battery life was about the same. The pixel 6A also did not have any sd card slot while the A33 you can extend the storage with up to 1TB! Part of this storage gb you can also use as more virtual ram memory for the A33. The only thing that the Pixel 6A has on the A33 is the camera and its more compact size if you are into that. In Sweden the 6A is also over 50$ more expensive than the A33. PS. The big deal breaker with the A33 5G is lack of support for most US carriers. The A53 5G has Verizon support where as the A33 does not. I am on Verizon.
@MS Office Pretty much. A few major carriers in the US namely verizon and US Cellular use the old CDMA technology to make calls or they need to be certified directly by those companies for CDMA-less activation. Soon this issue will go away once 3G and 2G get phased out and it's just 4G LTE and 5G.

A52s isn’t available anymore in some regions. That’s is a problem I have I can buy a used A52s or a new A33.
@@Garret141076 damn i didn't know that was a thing
Where i live theyre selling the Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G for $405, while the a53 5G is being sold cheaper for $389... Weird pricing
A52s can't handle android 12
A52 is a superb device,im due an upgrade but don't really need on with the A52 being so good.
I have cricket & can get the a53 at a nice discount, hopefully even more on black friday
Absolutely love it so far
AGREED!!! 💯I would definitely choose to get the A33-5g if it was offered in the US! But instead just chose to buy the A53 5g since it is almost the same, with a few slightly better specs-- but they're specs that I don't even need the higher specs on tbh.
Ughhhhh...it's annoying because the A53 costs so much more, OUCH, and it's really not that much more phone....!!! :(
I still SO WISH that Samsung would release the A33-5g in US.... *cough cough*...on Cricket, please!!!
I was trying to hold out in hopes they would release it, but it just doesn't look like it's gonna happen. *sad*
We'll see if they change their minds...
Him this comment kinda drama
Did they release it?
You have the 52s in the us and it far superior to any a series
It's what happens when your not patient and don't wait for sales, or keep shopping around. My A53 barely cost me $200, new to the door. Dunno where y'all shopping or wait for presales, black Friday sales etc etc etc
@@KattD. this comment is also 8 months old. So I'm sure prices have dropped a lot since it's not really a new phone anymore.

@@seferowastaken nah
@@frosty5317 yes you got big time scammed, you should've gotten the A52s 5G, lower price and and better performance than A53
@J L you can't get 5g on the a52 5g?
@@seferowastaken @Sefero got the a53 and i have definitely not been scammed. Got it at 329$ on amazon and it has 120hz refresh and also water resistant. Not to mention an impressively great camera for a mid ranger.
Also i do not want a fucking a52 cause I want my phone to last longer both in short term and long term.
-short term = the battery has been upgraded to 5000mah.
-long term = guaranteed software support until android 16.
All of these things are why I got the a53 and you will not just come at me and tell me I got scammed!
Got one yesterday and very happy
You can get the a53 at Walmart for $215 full price but if you're paying monthly it's $6-7 per month. Just talk to a premium retail sales employee they will just set you up.
Which is better, the M52 or A33?
I had an A52s but non stop issues with camera errors and glitchy keyboard so decided to change.
thanks for this usefull review, i'm interested by this phone but i had 4 mid range phone with amoled display and also a s20 fe 5g and they all suffered from black crush issues (with variable severity) so i want to know if you have tested this phone and the a53 with dark contents at low light or completely dark room conditions and noticed black crush areas and pixelated areas in youtube, netflix, prime,...and games too ?
So basically try to use the phone under conditions that he would never ordinarily even be in? Hard no.
You must be one of those people with nothing better to do than look for flaws. We call it nitpicking. In fact you probable get so busy searching for flaws, you miss all the good.
@@ChillydontCap you really don't have a clue about what I'm talking, thanks for commenting.
Those phones were defective.... had the fe for a little while and I had no such issues. That said, in 2021 I saw reports of screen issues with the samsung phones released in 2020
The A33 is not available in the USA except as an "international" version generally sold with no warranty. The nearest model we have here (which you can buy at local stores like Best Buy) is the A23, which retails for about $300 vs. $450 for the A53. Could you review the A23 vs A33, or the A23 vs. A53? Thanks.
After watching this video, I was all set to buy an A33. Disappointed that they don't see them here. I'd like to find out what I could buy that would be comparable.
I have a32 I still love it
Thanks for this video, I've been thinking of getting the a33
I ordered galaxy a53 5g from tracfone for 229$. Soo i dont mind to have a53, if i will be paying 499 for a53 then its not worth it but for 230 its good deal
I just bought the A53 for $249 at Walmart. I like it a lot.
Awesome honest review as always bro
A52S is better than this year's offerings.
My Pocco X3 pro has a 120hz screen, it chews through the battery so i just leave it at 60hz anyway. Is it a noticeable difference? Sure, but you soon forget about it.
8:28 100 percent agree, just get the a52s the a series this year just sux
I paid $259 brand new for my A53 5G best phone I ever bought!!
My dear brother. Can u 🙏 please tell how is the sound quality of galaxy a33 through usb to 3.5 adapter? Coz it doesn't have 3.5mm port. But I have heard it support usb adapter.
I just bought an a53 and got the usb to 3.5 to go with it. works really well. the audio was just as crisp and clear as my old phone was with the headphone jack.
this is wrong for me as this phone is as expensive as the a53 5g for me... I got the a53 instead as it was a little cheaper...
I did too.
Both a33 and a53 looks stunning on their new design, but both don't have headphone jack or charger break on their boxes, good thing I bought the a52s 5g
@Dan Wipper lol, a52s 5g beat a53 5g on overall performance/workload (weird considering a53 is the newer device), plus it's good to have more choices on earphones.
@Dan Wipper a52s is better in performance and if you don't want wired headphones you can't just use wireless, you can't do the opposite with the a53
@@crakkwhorrr a52 beats the a53 in the US?
I considered the A33, but got the A53 for 200.00 dollars from my carrier Boost Mobile which for me was a better value.
i got a33 8/128 for 267 dollars
The a335g front camera and bezels looks to much like one of the LG stylo phones. Hate that look don't think I could settle for that

yo tengo el a33 y si pone lento por ratos es su procesador xq veo que sobra ram
A very good value-price proposition device to be honest
Is it a good idea to upgrade a22 to a33/a53?
Yes.
It's screen has PWM. Aka screen flickering. So if you're sensitive to that, you'll get headaches and eye strain.
thinking about upgrading my 2 yr old a31 to this phone. my current phone works fine but takes too long to charge, has a crappy camera with no night mode/ ois and a horrible fingerprint sensor
I gonna get a A33. When I checked the between the A33 and A53 I confused to see how similar they where

Hi I got mine as gift on Tuesday loving it gv more how to mk it compatible how to get dfrnt font on phone thnx
Poco x3 GT is slightly cheaper than the A33. And it has a flagship chipset. Poco f3 6gb/128gb variant is the same price as the Samsung galaxy a33, it has snapdragon 870 chipset. Chinese midrangers are way better than Samsung
With the Nothing Phone1, Samsung has alot they can do better on the a53.
- wireless charging
- metal frame instead of plastic, my old a5 even had a proper build
- headphone jack
- and a better processor
I'm not asking for fast wireless charging, 10W is enough. Just make it available.
If a plastic frame at least make it so that the finish doesn't flake off after a year like on my a50. Wouldn't even mind if it was a recycled composite.
Headphone jack, because it's 2cents extra cost and people still use it. I'm not buying galaxy buds if I can find equally good headphones for 1/4 the price.
No wireless charging on those??
