Very cool Chip, awesome place to fish. Hard to find run outs down in central Florida coast like that. I've fished in that exact spot you are stopped to fish about 5 years ago . It sure is nice out there, I saw one other person on the beach that day in October. I remember catching a 19" jack there, fun fight. Someday I need to get out there for a few days to have time to read the beach and then know were to be fishing the beach with higher tides too. Have a great weekend!
Rickey Carter they are awesome but really not extremely practical! I thought I would be able to see into the water and see fish but I wasn’t able to on this day!
Enjoy your videos Chip, beautiful video of Talbot. I think I've seen you out there actually with that bike set up. I'm one of the nuts that fish that island with a fly rod lol. I got it pretty dialed this year and caught some bruisers over 30. If you ever wanted to go and hunt some sight casted reds up there I would be more than happy to go.
Place is really such a gem. Can feel like another planet when you're down at the north end all by yourself. Part of me wants to keep it all to myself and the other part (usually the one that wins) wants to share it. When the conditions are right it rivals any shallow water sight fishing I've done in the Keys or the Lagoon. I'll come up and introduce myself if I see you out there again. I remember saying that is one bad ass set up when I saw it with that electric bike lol
Very nice, easy to see and understand. Would also like to see one without the drone because we are looking from foot. And to male it the hardest video ever do it at high tide lol! No just kidding! You do a great job and this helps a lot. I need to start going at low tide and fish the whole incoming tide to help me find more spots. My beach fishing has sure improved watching you.
Great job Chip. The drone definitely helps a lot when explaining how to read the beach. Love how you went at low tide to show the run outs. 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ for this video 👍🎣 #Getoutthehousegofish
The Sinker Guy I would love to go to that area and see that wreckage for sure. Down here in the keys was a bust this weekend for kayak fishing. Off and on showers and lightning all weekend. Just doing family stuff 👍 Robbies was very cool and today a quick airboat ride as long as we get a break in the weather.
That was great. Thank you! Love your sinkers and your videos. My 24 yr old son and I are local (OP area) and we have just started surf fishing together some. Your info is a great help
The Sinker Guy , 24yr old son here - Hunter. Thanks for providing great content! I’m definitely an amateur surf fisherman, but I fell in love with fishing the beach this year and the good eating it provides. You’ve been a big help! As my dad said your sinkers are the bomb, and we love your videos. Thanks!
Hey Chip. I up at South Fletcher fishing today. Beautiful day. Can I ask what bike that is? RadRover? do you like it? I have been looking at getting one for a couple years. now. A video on how you tow your cart and all about your cart would be great. I bought your sinkers down at RennWorks. Thanks for the videos.
Thank you for the very valuable wisdom Sir! Question, what size and type rods do you use for the surf. Also, any tips on casting as far as possible? I use a ugly stick bigwater 10ft med hvy 2-6oz lure spinning and having a hard time with casting far. I'll buy whichever rod you recommend. You already did a video with info on the reels. Thank you!
I have two new rods coming out soon! A 12 and a 13ft! Over the Bar is the name of the rod. The 12ft loads super easy and very well! Effortless throwing! Great for smaller species but will hold up to big reds, just might not be what I target when I use this rod. The 13ft is a little stiffer but easily loaded for bombs! This rod would be best when targeting bigger fighting fish, large pompano, reds, black drum and even a once in a while shark! Let me know which one you would like.
So Josh, this video was sharing where you can fish! I will always choose the hole when I know it is there! If not I will start on the runout and then find where the fish are if that is on the sand bar or in the hole. Tide always determines where to fish! That is another 40-60 mins discussion on TH-cam!
THANKS FOR YOUR VERY INFORMATIONAL VIDEO, MY FRIEND. TIGHT LINES...
Thank you for sharing this. Great info!
Well done, top shelf information.
Great video! Thank you for doing this. Clarified what you told me when we fished together. Awesome stuff.

Nicely done. I have been wanting a drone to help with the recon. This almost seals the deal.

Do not buy a Radrover bad customer service and rear tire motor went out twice in 4 trips! Would not recommend this company for anything on the sand!
Thanks.

So to recap. Your favorite place to fish in order.
1. A deep hole
2. A run out in it and to the south and north
3. In front of or behind a sandbar.
