I've been a Cooper fan since 1971 and this is a great song from a great album. The tour in support of 'Along Came A Spider' is one of the best Alice shows I've seen yet.
Lmao oh yeah that interview was funny, ha yeah Alice has that kind of humour to buy it himself lol, and I liked it when they were going on about the old lady dropping the ring into the ocean that was my fave bit lmao
i was in the audience when this was recorded (the same day as the interview and elected back in september). in my opinion his voice didn't sound nearly as bad in person as it does on the recording.
Been a long time fan, I'm 19 yet I've seen everything form him. I only hope I can be a hand size as good as him on stage. Betty Krueger from the Party Slashers out
maybe im being harsh about it. its okay but with all the advertising really dark, high budget & the 1st song heard on his myspace being vengance i assumed the whole album would be insanely heavy with great sabbath like riffs and solos. after vengences the rest of the album just went tamer & all chordy. no one else seems to complain but myself though so maybe i should give it time to grow on me. i would love to hear an entire really turned up riff driven album with solos and stuff though
yeah... I'm looking forward to seeing him next year, too... I saw him last year when he was touring with Heaven & Hell (Black Sabbath)... I've got pictures of Alice and the rest of that show posted on my site: ozzgod(dot)com click on 'heaven & hell '07 (photos from the tour)... enjoy...!
raise your fist was a great album too i thought-roses on white lace and all that! real cool! im suprised he never worked it into his brutal planet tour. for me the only album i hardly listen to is "trash"-sorry poison fans. one of my favorite alice albums is pretties for you--i like the musical ideas-alice is better when hes not trying to be commercial but vengence was the best song on the new album i thought-the rest was tamer with less solos. maybe he should do an entire album with slash!
Keri played just fine here HOWEVER this performance clearly shows the downside of the great idea of having a guest musician with a strong & unique musical character for the album recording. It's hard to exactly imitate such a performance. And people always expect to hear something very similar. Slash always puts his signatures when he is called in as a guest. For the live performance the same shouldn't be expected. Not that the stage performer can't do it, but why would s/he?
Alice asked the tv show producers to get a woman from the audience and ''struggle her'' during the song but he was not allowed ...! OMG They allow all the shit been advertised on tv and they dont allow the rock God to do his job ...
doesnt sound as good as he usually does. wierd. i saw a few weeks back and he 200% better than any of these jokers that call themselves rock. probably just a tired voice here. ALICE COOPER ROCKS!!!
awesome frontman, NOT versatile rock singer, he is awesome at what he does and is decent when he does ballads but he isnt that versatile, he doesnt have much of a range and he only really does what you see here

I went to that Tour in October 31st 2008 in my city in Canada in New Brunswick
Best frontman of all the time, and most versatile rock singer, Alice Cooper
still a great voice at that age! wonderfull!
he can beat everyone onstage....just a "rock god" as graig says...
This was an awesome performance
he has an amazing style of performing
This song is 1000 times better with slash
Thanks for posting this. I missed the show. Alice still rocks!
one thing never to old to rock !!!!
Lmao oh yeah that interview was funny, ha yeah Alice has that kind of humour to buy it himself lol, and I liked it when they were going on about the old lady dropping the ring into the ocean that was my fave bit lmao
i wanna see it live, next year!
Alice Cooper and Ozzy are the shit! They should tour together.
The lead guitar is Keri Kelli, who actually played with Slash in Slash's Snakepit for a while.
Alice is a God!!!
Awesome song!!!
I love this song!
So awesome!!!!
great performance and kickass song
rock on alice!
5/5

I cannot believe he was 61 there.
He better start bloody touring soon. Cant wait!!

no interview... Alice was just the music guest this time...
where's Slash???
@chokeslamking yeah i think his voice isnt warmed up he is singing with a cold voice maybe he was a lil sick who knowes

I dont like how the guitarist didnt play the licks in the first verse...like Slash did
No Singer on this tour? KISS must be doing something again. Bah, Eric, stay with Alice.
Keri Kelli has his style...Slash has his. I think Keri played just great here.
He left out the "When I want, when I need" part of the song.
@keith12161 lol keri is the best :P
slash is the best on this song SOUND FUNNY
@Wes21094 are you serious? chuck garricks awesome
Shoptaw Cadillac Slim
Guitars are in playback... You can see it @ 1:02 , on the right, he doesn't know what to play but he nails it ^_^

That's not Slash

OMG They allow all the shit been advertised on tv and they dont allow the rock God to do his job ...
creepiest than ever
Alice's voice sounds a little raspy, dont ya think?
@ImSuperHaute i prefer keri
except alice is way more badass
@MrRomer0 I don't know, jackass. I suppose you can do better?
Well, not sure, nevermind.
Im sorry but its not the same without Slash
Nope, Cooper is WRONG! Vengeance is MINE!
