I very much did not expect to learn a really good life lesson from this podcast that I listen to for entertainment value. But actors are really good at accepting compliments. And instead of declining the compliment, they are gracious and I have started incorporating it into my life and I think it's wonderful.
I'd been meaning to listen for a while, but this was my first listen of this podcast. Totally loved it and couldn't stop listening. Can't remember the last time I listened to an entire hour long podcast of anything.
I love you all and Andy is hilarious. On Mothers Day, I can remmeber staring at the tv with my jaw dropping to the floor as "Mother Lover"aired. So good as a part 2 of DITB. Love me some JT. Also I relate to everything you guys joke about. Im same age and grow up in So Cal. If I became a actor, I would totally hang out. Thank for making my Mondays.
Well (I think Will?) said in the beginning he saw Andy at the vanity fair party (march 10th) two weeks before recording it so probably end of march 2024 and the Tli and Seth meyers podcast came out in early April
Right now they can just open the laptop wherever they're at and chat with a friend for an hour.. No worries about going to a studio and getting dressed, hair, make up or lighting. SiriusXm just gave them $100 mil to keep doing it. It's a great gig.
@@daveclark8337 They have guests on every episode, its a comedic interview not a chat with a friend. It's being uploaded to across the web as content. Being lazy isn't an excuse as literally every other podcast has video. Look at the All-in podcast, they do it from home like so many others.
@@UnsaltedCashew38 Their guests are mainly Hollywood-types. Meaning they're vain and are Not going to do an interview on camera for public consumption without proper hair, makeup, wardrobe, studio lighting and cameras. Spade and Carvey asked their producer (Audacy?) about getting cameras for their pod and the answer was "SmartLess doesn't use cameras." These guys all have other jobs. This pod is just something they squeeze in for an hour per week into their busy schedules. Jason's making a Neflix series in NY right now, he's not at home.
This is the only podcast that I do not skip ahead to the guest. I love hearing these three guys talk before they bring on the guest.
...and I almost never skip the ads.
I might skip some of the guest, but I'm always listening to the opening and outro.
The guests are always great but their discussions before they bring on the guest is what makes this podcast my favorite lol
We need to be able to watch these please.
Take the audio, and play it over footage of any other podcast recording, pretend Scott Auckerman looks like Will Arnett, job done.
Wishing for your video edition of these podcasts. As Jon Stewart & Pod Save America do. So much fun to see who's tossing out which line.
Immediate like and listen for Andy.
Realize we're late, but would like to elaborate on Andy being an usher in Blue Man Group...
Holy shit its the actual blue man group
Loved the podcast today. Love Andy. Like how they mentioned I'm on a Boat. My favorite song (I listen to it pretty much everyday ;) )
Hot Rod is so underrated. It’s laugh out loud funny the whole movie and Will absolutely nailed it with his character
What a great episode ! Not a single dull moment. Love andy 🤎
Love these pod casts! You make me laugh almost 100% of the show! Brilliant!
this cast is so underrated

I listen to your shows over and over again and laugh just as hard every time! Damn
Thank goodness they got “I’m on a boat” referenced because that is my favorite and it a must out on the water! It’s a summer theme for me!
Yes we need videos with your podcast please

I am totally planning to do an on a boat remake this year on my Hawaii trip. Love some Samberg.
The fist series of Cuckoo he was so funny!!
Yes, I thought Andy was great in that show. I wasn't fond, however, of his replacement in the second season.
@@davidadams2395 I agree. And I was so disappointed to learn that he wasn't going to be coming back.
When was this recorded? Lonely Island podcast has in like episode 50 not nt really but there's more than 10.

His line in Parks N Rec is so funny. “The piss one…”
OMG, Television without Pity was the best! Their recaps of Lost and Carnivale were outstanding!
Andy, Hot Rod IS a cult classic ❤
Bateman Samberg frienaissance
I miss Television Without Pity!!!
One of these guys sounds like Space Ghost. Is it Arnett, or is there a 4th guy in the intro?
He was great in 50 First Dates and Click...
Hey boomers, you guys plan on having video on these podcasts or will we stay on cassette tape forever?

Haaaaaaaaaaa 😂
Pathetic 🤦
2nd! Jess Fineview here!
What was the silly Dad joke that Sean told on a recent episode? I've been racking my brain trying to remember it.
Jimmy at a funeral. 😂
mine’s Craig Rockwood
FINALLY
Aww he’s funny
I’m here for the first 5 min Sean roast. I’m also here for the rest of it too.
Dale Redstart
I wish Andy would bring back his big puffy hair.
Jeez.. Be nice to Sean. Afib is serious.
I love you 3 but... 99
Andy Samburg is not the least bit funny. Who's worse, him or beaver boy
it's as easy as seeing the title and skipping the episode if u don't like him lmao
@@ivannas4028 I did skip it
