    The Roman catapult displayed here especially the draw mechanism system looks very sophisticated it wouldnt be out of place in the medieval era brilliant museum

    Well worth the visit. Just be careful with road leading to it, some fast drivers hurtle along and can catch you out if you're entering from a junction.

    Kind of weird how everyone is fascinated in the first Reich and that's OK, but it was more or less identical but even more brutal than the Third one, I'm lucky to travel along the military way several times a week, it never ceases to amaze me.

      A Donative was expected from a newly promoted Imperator for the serving soldiers under him. There were many Imperatores because of this custom. one closely following the other because of sudden death.

    They look like Britons in Roman armour not Romans in Roman armour.
    They should look like they are from the Mediterranean - not Manchester.
