I read somewhere that even in pre-christian Rome other peoples faiths were tolerated as long as you didn't try to preach your religion to them. Thus I suppose is where the saying 'When in Rome do as the Romans do,' or 'Practice your customs and religious beliefs by all means, but don't try and ram them down our throats.

🗣️ I totally agree with your assessment about how movies and books are giving false narratives although with good intentions. Learning that ancient Egyptians were melanated has me question things the church presents in movies that are shown. Thank you for the research you put in for this video. It motivates me to do more research when studying my bible.

Being at once a history major studies in ancient cultures I came across the roman army in Judea, Palestine.
The soldiers were station there were punished n sent to Judea.
And those soldiers hated the region as hot temperatures and its people they had no love for. Most legionaires came from hispsnia, gaul..

Jesus wasn't executed on a cross. The Greek words Stauros and Xy'lon refer to a simple Torture stake. At Acts 5: 30 in several translations it is translated as tree. Aloha Shalom!

Josephus's history was written in the Second Century AD, not 600 years later.
