thank you so much for making content it makes me so calm and makes me love collecting even more, my dolls got ruined ina hurricane but i’m starting to start it back up im so excited
the question answered around 13:00 just gave me the BIGGEST smile. I used to be bullied for my dolls so i put them away a couple years ago. just recently I have been starting to get them back out, look at them and redress them. Kris’s videos have been amazing with helping me reconnect to them and this community again. So much so I might start making agsm’s again or even possibly show my bf them since I do miss this part of my personality. The way you answered the question honestly just reminded me of how confident you should be in yourself and what you like!
I'm 14 and I have a lot of them maybe all of them I'm seriously talking and my mom was fine with it but now she says that she wants me to hide them when I enter high school cause she's worried boys aren't gonna like me for it but I don't even worry about boys but she does.
@@VioletMonroy-is9zo i’m a vlap student and i’d say keep your dolls!! you don’t need to hide them. I only put mine away because I had to clean the room they were in and I realized I hadn’t touched them in a while so it was probably best to keep them in the best condition. its normal to not talk about them for a while until you feel like you’re ready/you found the right people to tell. people’s opinions about dolls definitely change as they get older and as you look around you will meet people who will say they miss theirs still. highschool isn’t about boys, it’s figuring out what you want to do with your life is! id maybe just ask yourself why you like your dolls so much.. for example agsm? doing their hair? photography? those are all legitimate career paths that you can proudly say your dolls helped you find:) also a lot of people just say “im giving them to my kids” :)

There is a lot of jealousy! That woman who bought one of the one of a kind auctioned first collector dolls that were like 5 grand. ..she gets shamed by people all the time. Anyone who spends big money on doll stuff gets little snippy comments about spending so much on dolls. It's sad.

@@mazzybananas it feels like she was a GOTY. z was based off of the AG Z Crew stop motion doll videos series. She an originally a Truly me doll until AG added her Birth Mark on her cheek for the actual z yang doll. With her theme of Video,film making she was very popular with AGTubers. I believe Z was meant to be a GOTY but AG decided to Release Z along with Tenney and Logan. Since Tenney was supposed to be the GOTY for 2017 but AG changed it to Gabby last minute with a reused truly me doll,same items as previous dolls and half done messy rushed collection. She didn't do well.
I think it's great that you addressed the financial aspect and that you're committed to paying for everything up front. I think it's important that you clarified that. I believe that collecting should be fun and if you're buried under debt it's not fun anymore.
