I'm a 60 something cyclist.... I was crying with you 5 minutes from the end. You are a legend Amy Hudson... because of you my mileage has doubled in the last year, hills I would look at I just paaaah at when I reach the top... from a fellow cyclist thank you for sharing your adventures.. Kyle, Your Dad and your Mums hearts must be beating out of their chests.. A huge well done.... !!!! oh and well done for Wayne coming out to see you... next time share your route with us...
Well done Amy, you’re an inspiration. I’m 75 and only been cycling for 6 years. The next time I’m feeling low and still got 30 miles to go I’ll think of you and just get on with it. Thank you!
Amy, I never comment on social media. Yet, here I am, wishing to say that you are truly inspirational. As a fellow woman cyclist who very often doubts herself, I find it so helpful to see how you cope with the lows on your rides. I've started incorporating some of your coping mechanisms into my rides as well and turns out, my mileage is quickly increasing! Thank you for these videos and congratulations on the epic ride!
Thank you so much! This is so great to hear, hope you enjoy all your rides, keep going & maybe see you on an Audax some time ☺️🫶 don’t let the doubt stop you x
You are the sweetest girl and strongest woman all rolled Into one, I don’t think there’s another cycling channel at this current time that’s turning out such quality content. Loving you and every thing you do.
Us old timers have been drinking from streams for a very long time and we’ve survived but, for reassurance, modern water filters are light and compact. Worth considering. Dehydration takes a long time to recover from. An astonishing achievement, so many miles and hills, and you still managed to film it and tell the story. “Don’t use the same finger,” made me laugh.
You are an incredible person and cyclist. I'm in total awe of your latest achievement riding 680 miles with over 51000 feet of climbing in under 71 hours. Truly exceptional performance. You motivate all your fellow cyclists to keep on trying to improve, never give up and ultimately fulfill your dreams. Finally you and Kyle are a lovely couple and I was impressed with both of you with your epic Mortirolo climb. Major kudos.
Thanks Amy I've never ever done this before supporting someone for there efforts like this but that 680 miles truly deserves a little support as I normally say KEEP UM ROLLING AMY & KYLE 🚴🚴🚴🚴🚴🚴🚴🚴🚴🚴🚴🚴🚴🚴
I certainly don't watch TH-cam videos this long yet I put this one on on the big TV in the living room, sat down & watched from start to finish with the wife. Absolute top effort. Saying you shouldn't doubt yourself is easy for an outsider but what you've accomplished, not just on this ride, is incredible. You thoroughly deserve all these opportunities that's came your way. Best cycling channel by an absolute mile imo. Sorry, milone ;)
Absolutely brilliant Amy. Not just well done, but awesomely well done. This journey of your biking adventures just keeps getting better, and helping you realize that you have always been worthy, no matter what you go through. The high's, the lows, they are all a part of what makes you the woman you are. Just like my daughter who has been, and still is going through some mental health issues, she is also so worthy, even more so because she's still my little girl at the age of 40. With mental health we tend to focus on the negative no matter how well we have done. But when we have time to look back and see how far we have come, we see it is all worth it. So those negative moments become our strength that keep's taking us forward. What a brilliant time you had doing this ride. And what an amazing time we have watching you achieve so much in life. Time to relax and recover a little before the next journey. 👏
Amy you are absolutely legend. I've completed some mega tough challenges serving in the Army, running carrying a heavy Bergen for miles and miles up and over the Pen-Y-Fan for example and been close to tears at the end of some of them, so I know what that feels like. But I don't know if I could've done what you've just done "straight off the bat" that's incredible, and it really sets you apart. Please don't you ever believe that you're not good enough - you're more than good enough, you are exceptional, take it from one who knows - exceptional. Very well done, a big virtual hug and a kiss from me.
Well done, you did it whoop whoop. Never in doubt, fantastic effort Amy, sit back and bask in the glow knowing despite all your self doubt, you came, saw and conquered, there’s nothing you can’t do!
What an incredible video and achievement!! Your bravery at both videoing and overcoming adversity was awesome. Massive congratulations Amy......you can literally do anything now!
What an achievement, congratulations. I'm knackered after 80 miles so I dont think I could manage what you have done. You're a true inspiration keep it up.
Wow Amy, I was one of your first 100 followers on YT and.you constantly amaze me with how far you have come in such a short space of time. What an incredible achievement, takes such courage and determination I can't even imagine how hard this must have been physically and mentally. Thanks for sharing such an honest and unflinching account of your journey with us!
Amy you are the best example of someone who doesn’t let the tough times dictate the happy times, I’ve watched this 3 times now and I’m still blown away , I’m new to cycling but if I can have half the passion you have then il be doing ok, keep smiling because you smiling makes people who don’t feel like smiling feel better, your an inspiration to people suffering with mental health, stay strong and hopefully il get to meet you on the road one day 😊
I echo all of the praise and good wishes that others have written on such a remarkable achievement. Whilst this sort of epic adventure (conquering your own Everest) tests your physical and mental limits, you’ve got through it all with flying colours and are even greater person on account of this steadfast accomplishment, as the French would say, Chapeau! Just as importantly is the impact of you sharing this adventure in such an honest and transparent way with us and from what I am reading all of the good that it does to others. Keep it up.
Congratulations Amy! You can take great pride in your achievement. You have proven that you are a much stronger and resilient person than you ever thought possible. Your achievement will inspire others to dare to achieve things they never thought themselves possible of.
Blooming Nora, what an achievement! The cycling alone is enough to have a grown man weep, and then add sleeping in bus shelters and graveyards with no proper food in the tummy, endless climbs, rain, and a broken bottom. Gee Whizz. You could not pay me to attempt doing the same.
Wow, I m so impressed by you Amy! Being way out there on the road is nerve wracking enough without having to deal with being alone in the middle of the night. What a monumental ride to take on, still watching the vid but big AY-UP to you lass!!!
Well done Amy. You are amazing and so brave, you're such an inspiration. Even had me crying at the end, when you knew you had completed it in time. Just awesome stuff.
Brilliant video, brilliant ride. Well done Amy. What a star. There's a reason I think you're the best TH-camr cyclist out there. Just your pure honesty and openness is so welcoming. Thank you! Keep making these brilliant videos :0)
As I watched you overcome so many challenges I realized that is what cycling is all about. We all go through challenges every day, It's how we deal with them and stay positive through the challenging times. Good for you to be brave enough to step out of your comfort zone. You are AMAZING. Wahoo
Congratulations, you continue to be an inspiration to all you're viewers. I actually did my first 200K ride yesterday and I'm feeling proud but tired today 😊
Beautiful ride Amy! And amazing story telling, each one of those 53 min and 50s were inspiring and entertaining! 48:40 there was definitely some moisture accumulating in my eyes. Your way of taking us along with you feels so honest and real and completely natural, it is truly great.
Congratulations Amy, we were crying with you ,and are so pleased that you achieved your goal, keep being you and inspiring all who follow your adventures 😊
Truly absolutely a must watch - you Amy are incredible - so gritty so determined - so talented a cyclist - like many of the other comments I have been inspired so much to take on longer distances- honestly what a brilliant film and so love all your family and Kyle as the quiet steady love and support we all need when we tackle these challenges - enjoy and bask in the glory of this xxx well done girl you smashed it.
Well done that was amazing and thanks for leaving the lows in the video that was a very honest and less confident cyclists wouldn’t have left those moments in the video ❤
Just watched this video Wow!!! Absolutely brilliant I’ve got stuff going on in my life that’s going to change my plans forever and so I think you’ve shown me what I want to do I’m 57 now and my wife has terminal cancer which is preventing me following the ultra route for now but watching these videos is giving me hope for the future and something I can positively view as a way to focus after the inevitable Keep riding and keep filming 👍👍
Amy I’ve followed for a long time and it’s great to see your journey and how far you’ve come. Was emotional watching that 10 miles from the end and the speech! You are always good enough ❤
Legendary doesn’t even begin to describe your accomplishment! That was absolutely amazing. I cried with you and laughed at your commentary, the usual Amy repartee that entertains all of your followers. I am amazed that your body didn’t seize up with all of that cycling. It is a testimony to the incredible physical condition you are in. You should do a video on your training, stretching and nutrition when you do these mega events. Cheers from the mountains of western Canada!
Thank you so much ☺️ ahh glad that you enjoyed watching along. Ohh yes I’ll put something together, might not be really soon but I’ll defo do a video about that ☺️

If I knew you were riding through my home county of North Yorkshire, I would have come and cheered you on. Bit sad that women feel anxious about riding in the dark. Maybe one day that will change for the better. Well done Amy.

I’ve been really looking forward to this video. You’re an absolute inspiration. Cycling has become so important to my mental health and watching your channel has reignited my passion for cycling!
@@amy.cycling.adventures Just finished watching. Just wow, what an incredible achievement!! Your self awareness when the self-doubt gremlins start, and your ability to challenge them using positive self talk is something you should be so proud of yourself for! I can’t imagine the effort it takes, not only to complete something like this, but to be thinking of your subscribers and filming it too. I’m so grateful you took us all along! Keep pedalling!
I am so proud of you and your achievements and this ride was exceptional and the best so far for many different reasons. You are an inspiration to many people and far stronger than you ever thought possible both mentally and physically with an infectious personality that contributes to your continued and well deserved success.
Thank you Amy for sharing this amazing emotional roller coaster ride in the beautiful northern British countryside. It’s a great story of struggle and elation and I’m so glad you decided to make it one film.

Just an incredible achievement Amy, watching you through your highs and lows during the event, and how you managed them is inspirational 👍 you smashed it time wise too 👌 I know you do this for you, and not for any form of glory, and that honesty shines through 😊 what a year you are both having 😎
You are truly an inspirational amazing young lady. Very brave doing APN on your own. So strong. Well done. You have given me a kick up the backside to get out on my bike and get some miles in. Did RAB LEJOG a couple of years ago, need to get back to that fitness level again. Its surprising how much an individual can push themselves. There is always more in you! Keep going with the adventures. Think you should do a petrol station review of all the stations you stopped at APN 😄
First time I've watched your channel. Wow !! What an introduction. I'm so impressed with your effort. The content is wonderful and so entertaining. Subscribed now.

Seeing how nervous and scared you get but then seeing you overcome it is truly an inspiration
Absolutely smashed this as per!
Thank you 🫶🫶
You are truly an inspirational amazing young lady.
Chapeau Amy !!!! that was absolutely awesome, you are such an inspiration, and well, well, well good enough ! you are truly amazing !
Thank you so much!! 🫶🫶
