Always very entertaining, always very impressive cycling abilities - distance and BIG hills today! I cannot imagine being able to talk as calmly and as well as you when going up that hill at 17:01 ! Kyle was obviously out of the saddle and pushing hard ... meanwhile you were tootling up the hill, casually reading 'War & Peace' by Tolstoy, varnishing your nails, wondering what to have for dinner and chatting casually to camera for TH-cam! Super-woman.
The scenery was completely fantastic!

Your route from Lake Vyrwyn to Ffestiniog was part of the Burton to Bala Bash 400 in the mid 1990s. Control in a car park before the descent into Ffestiniog then return to Bala and off to the Oasis cafe, a greasy spoon caravan cafe on the A5 at Oswestry. Some Audax rides run now use some of those roads too. Lots of good riding to be had in Wales. One of my favourite places to cycle.
Snowdonia and the road in the last 35 milones is absolutely stunning. It's the first time I've seen any cycling TH-camr capture it so nicely.

Hi Amy and Kyle 😊 what another great video, brings back memories of my holidays when I was at school as we spent many a holiday near Lake Vyrnwy at Peny Bont Fawr (about 9 miles to the east) beautiful countryside 👌 the road from Lake Vyrnwy to Bala and then beyond across to Snowdonia is stunning 😊👌 as you will already know 👍

Hey Amy, don't forget how much extra weight you were carrying off the back of your bike. That's gonna make any incline feel 10 times worse, as you're fighting gravity even more so than usual. You'll be sooooo strong after your tour.

Welcome to Wales. We do have a fair few hills around here and some of them can definitely bring tears to your eyes but they usually come with some stunning views too. Next time you come back consider doing some of the coastal stretches e.g. around Ceredigion Bay.
The views are 100% worth it! Ohh yes costal would be nice too 😍
That looked like you were riding on my roads in Scotland😁What an effort guys, that was some ride👌13296ft of climbing is just mind blowing, my best was 8300ft and that was tough and on my e bike😂I hope Kyle's knee will be ok for the last day which sounds like a tough one into a headwind!

Flippin 'eck. 146 miles on day two and 4000m of climbing. That would be a 3 day ride on its own for me! You two are out of simple amateur level for sure now. Genetically gifted as we saw during the tests but you still need to put the work in. It's funny to hear wattage numbers slowly creeping into the conversation haha

Welcome to Wales . There are some true smash fest routes if you go out of your way to put the climbing altogether in a circuit. Cannot fault the scenery as a distraction though :)..

What bike computer would you recommend I buy for my bike - normally do anywhere from 20 - 70 miles on my rides - have a Cateye, but its old now...bit like me haha

If you’re feeling down just remember how many people you are inspiring to ride and enjoy life. ❤ Kyle - for your knee try taking a joint supplement that includes Turmeric. I am 63 years old and have historic knee injuries from years of snowboarding. I was sceptical about the benefits of Turmeric but it has been a god send.

Here's a tip for you re banana's... APPARENTLY... a not so ripe one before you start, a just right/ripe one when you need it and a really ripe one when you really really need. Good choice jacket potato too, ultra marathon runners eat them for starch.. I wish I was your age again you two... youre so inspiring, but I'd struggle like you mountain goats.... massive well done all the same..
