On Trend Market Bag

Our On Trend Crochet Market Bag CROCHET PATTERN design today features a beautiful, thick textured crochet stitch called the feather stitch. The feather stitch design is broken up by several rounds of half double crochet stitches worked in the third loop. Compared to the other bags in this years crochet along, this bag is a little bit roomier. The feather stitches are worked a little more loosely and are almost plush in texture. As is the case with many puff stitches, the feather stitch is quite fun to work.

Skill Level: Intermediate
Gauge: 18 x 20 rows of sc = 4 inches
Finished Size: Approximately 15 x 18 inches excluding the handles
Yarn: 24/7 Cotton by Lion Brand® (186 yds/170 m; 100g/3.5 oz; 100% cotton; (4) worsted weight). You will need 2 balls Silver (Colour A), 2 balls Denim (Colour B), 1 ball Sky (Colour C)
Hook: Size G/6 (4 mm) hook.

The pattern on your website shows hdc in final stitch for the ending of R9-12 of the sides. But the video has a very different ending. Beautiful pattern, by the way!

Rita if you click on the pattern in the description of the video for Row 9-12 of the sides are feather stitches and she does demonstrate them in the video. Hope that helps.
