Swapping gears can give you a higher top speed, I prefer 49/17 gears, but there are several options. Thus is a recommended upgrade to go with a big bore kit.

I have a set of glixal gears 49/17 glixal stamped should be facing out? Silly question I’m sure they can go on either way

Depends, it will only mesh up one way or the other if it's not straight cut gears.

Alot of different factors at play.. It all depends on setup and how much power your making. Most ppl can expect an additional 2 to 5 mph.
