Reversed Phase Chromatography

Reversed Phase Chromatography (RPC) is the highest resolution chromatography technique. It differs from "normal" phase chromatography in that it uses a strongly non-polar stationary phase and a polar (hydrophilic) mobile phase. It is the method of choice for purification of peptides and nucleic acids in industry. I discuss the principle, theory and application of RPC in this video.
