No effing way , this toy car has a working petrol engine. I'm not clued-up on this field but this is crazy to me. The 3 cylinder even sounds good. Putting it on a rolling road as well! The level of skill involved here is next level. Wowzer !!
It's not a 3 cylinder. It's a single cylinder 4stroke nitro engine.
Commonly used in rc airplanes. These motors have been out for decades. There's also multi cylinder motors. Ranging from 2 all the way up to 12cylinders.

Yes, I've been into rc since the 80's.

Nice video, but i think the car will soon burn down if you dont change the position from your gasoline tube which is touching the exhaust tube😬 and also the ropes must be in crossing position to hold the little car in position...
I'm more amazed at the working clutch mech, but this is completely bad ass

Nice! A thumb clutch with an externaly actuated dogbox transmission. We need to see it on the road, you could rev the engine and let the clutch go and make a burnout. I assume you have a front brake linelock?

4 stroke variant of glow fuel. You can see the valve guides in front of the piston. The nitro to lube ratio is different but very similar.

OS used to make a really nice but pricey boxer engine. I always wanted to put one in an airplane, something pretty big, but I never did anything that needed 3.2 Cu In engine. I usually just ran OS 32's in planes mean for a 40 since that engine is so dang powerful for its size and weight.

The thumb was the clutch, the others were gear change up and gear change down. Very clever setup. Like driving a manual car.
