Good tip to prevent double sided tape from re-sticking during uninstall, squeeze a few puffs of baby powder in the crack between the tape and the car to cover the adhesive. Doing so will prevent it from reattaching itself to the surface you're taking it off of.

If I opened up a shop, I’m basically replacing 1 job with another job (a crappier one) that requires me to rent a place, pay for utilities, get certified and license, work for people, do installs all the time, be there all the time and spend a lot of energy. A shop sounds “cool” but it is a terrible idea for me and sooooo much riskier compared to what I’m doing now that has zero overhead and I have a lot more time to chill. And I probably make more than owning a shop. Owning a shop, you don’t make anything until you put in tons of manual work and a lot of hours. And after you pay all your bills...then whatever is left is your profit. You basically start in a hole every month. No thanks.

I had this installed on my w205 c450, but the double sided tape wont hold and it keeps pulling off. Any idea on how to make it stick please? The light works great, but i just have issues making it stick.
Either didnt use the right tape or didn’t clean the surface well or both. Not all double sided tape are the same. I only use VHT 5925 tape now. I use it for wings, body kits, trims, and more. Holds up the best then stuff from Walmart or autozone. It’s available on eBay and Amazon. Look it up. Gotta make sure both surfaces are clean, the install is only a moderately warm day and you gotta hold the piece to the car for a few minutes for the tape to work it’s magic.

Dmp stopped carrying it. I think you can find similar items on like Alixpress but I don’t know the quality or wiring. You will need tech support from whoever you buy it from.
No. It’s just A brake light and a reverse warning light. If it has indicators, that’s overkill and just doesn’t look right. Indicators will make it look 100% like a trucks lightbar.

The reflection off the bottom/rear surface of the spoiler had me thinking that you had an illuminated spoiler. Maybe needs some flat black (non-reflective) vinyl on that bottom/rear surface. Cheers.
Not worth it. Stock Engine isn’t built to support a lot of power without changing a bunch of stuff and it will cost a lot of money. Probably can make power but it will be unreliable.
Plus when you go in reverse, only the sides blink as a warning to pedestrians. The middle section doesn’t light up to even remotely interfere with the backup camera.
As shown in the video, the lightbar has nothing to do with the turn signals. It’s a brake light bar. It’s connected to one tail light only to pick up the “braking” and “reverse” signal. If the light bar has turn signals, that would be way too cheesy. The cars taillight is already blinking for a turn signal...don’t need half of the lightbar blinking too.
Looks cool, but I'd prefer a mod that change the OEM third break-light to LED/Dynamic style.

Mercedes is putting light bars on their EV concept cars. I could see light bars being a common thing in future Mercedes cars.

Zero issues. It’s not even remotely close to the camera.
