- I've returned to my roots for a closer look at Crackdown 2. This time I try to actually explain why it really is a piece of shit but my rage may have gotten the best of me and I may go off topic for a bit...

Personally I loved Crackdown 2, it provided literally hours of endless entertainment. Now I am currently playing Crackdown 1 for the first time since its free, again its pretty awesome but I liked 2 better.
Nine years later, and history repeats itself.
Basically grand theft auto but with better gameplay and multiplayer

I've been playing the crap out of Crackdown 3, and having played all of them at this point I think 2 is actually my favorite. I admit though, it could've gotten away with being a big DLC for the first one rather than a whole new game. Minus the transforming vehicles it's just the first one but better as far as mechanics/gameplay goes. If nothing else, you can't pick up things like lamposts and use them like clubs/hammers in the first one, just throw them, but you can in 2 (and 3)
Guns'n Games 1226 2 and 3 were rushed to production, I played the shit out of both the 1st and 2nd games and 1 is still my favorite. I love amount of innovation put into a game from 2007. but I did still like 2, even if it is rushed. The weapons and melee combat was better, and the setting is a lot cooler
@@resentedsteam8332 i just recently replayed crackdow 1 and 2, and the city in the 2nd game feels so dead and gray, and i hate the zombies too, the setting is just uninteresting, that said it is still a good sandbox game.

I do. Almost all the time. Michael is a fuckin boss. One of the funniest guys ever. He's even hilarious when he isn't playing with other people. Like in Full Play (Hope he finishes Banjo Tooie soon).

I loved Crackdown! But Crackdown 2 was a disappointment. When they took away the car transformations I was posses beyond belief.

The only fun part I actually remember on crackdown 2 was all hidden behind a damn dlc. The key to the city in this game had more spawnable stuff and u got some iron man rocket boots like where tf was this the whole time I was grinding my ass off tryna get on top a building and collect a damn running orb

You're right when you say that you see an orb everywhere you look, but that only happens in the beginning. Once you have collected a lot of them, it's much harder to find the rest.

I totally agree with you 100% I tried it and they really messed up they replaced the nice cars from the first crackdown with rusty cars and the same city but broken and chipped to pieces and crackdown 3 is even worst the best one I think was crackdown the very first one.

I don't see how you could not have fun in Crackdown 2. You just run around being all powerful and stuff. It's essentially an open world super hero game. Sometimes I would just waste time jumping from rooftop to rooftop for the fun of it. To not like this game is to not not understand why video games are fun.

Connor Calder I thought Crackdown 2 was marginally better, they are very similar so I don't see how you could really say that one is much different than the other.
Because in Crackdown 1 you had goals and things to do in addition to freeform dicking around, in Crackdown 2 there's nothing other than dicking around. That's a downgrade, since most people enjoy a clear goal more.

The climbing difficulty on the Chinese Island is because its supposed to be the last one you do, and the grabbing problem is because you're supposed to push into the ledge to make sure you grab it. The transformations is the only thing I agree with.

If they do make a new Crackdown I'd buy it. I like the Crackdown series but I see Crackdown 2's flaws. After the first Crackdown, it hinted at you going to new cities, but the second game plopped you in the SAME FUCKING CITY, so I'm sure they wouldn't make that mistake with the 3rd one.

This video exemplifies the problems I have with people when they review video games on TH-cam. The over exaggerated anger rants is just distracting me from your overall point of view of the game. You say the game sucks because of the orbs are to hard and there are too many things to collect? Games like Banjo-Kazooie are built around that so your model of what a good game is, is just a scrambled mess. Then we just watch you get angry over like the dumbest things just to try and further your point, but it's just a mess.
I wouldn't call this a review really. It's more of a follow-up or explanation as to why he was so pissed in his previous Crackdown vid (at least, that's how I view it)
