Thank you for the video! It helped me out last night with the same issue on my 2002 Foreman 450. I was able to find the greenish blue wire with the red stripe at that two pin connector on the frame behind the right rear tire. I took the soldering iron and melted a spot of coating off of the wire on the battery side of the plug, not the neutral switch side, then soldered a wire and ran i up the harness grounded it to the battery. I have neutral light now and the bike will start. I will eventually fix it correctly, but I got this bike for free so right now I am trying to get it to the point where I can test ride it and make sure the trans is good etc before sinking money and time into it. It could end up being a part out, so I am not looking to pull the stator just yet! Thanks again!

Does your neutral light stay on all the time now? I’ve got the same issue and cannot find a new part showing discontinued

Yes. It stays on all the time now, but allows you to start in any gear.

all you had to do is cut the wire you tapped into and ground it to the frame or elsewhere, will do the same thing

Actually I tried that and it didn't work. Didn't matter where I grounded it to either. Some models are finicky I guess.
