Hey, did you give a try to the space trait "synthetic good fortune" (from the Equinox)? It would build some more control expertise for Fragment of AI tech + CrtH, though I dunno how much you can stack ... maybe instead of Terran Goodbye since it gives less , dunno how bad you need the extra Acc. Dunno how much stack you could build up in such a short time though.
That’s a really good call that trait ! ! I didn’t know about that one! That’s a more affordable option over Terran Goodbye and has other perks you mentioned. I really like how you can get up to 20% Crit chance and it lasts for 5 minutes. You can also use the passive for sector space speed to get around Now that I’m playing multiple characters I’m starting to veto Over priced Lock Box ships and find alternatives which are account wide and work close to other traits. i tried this build with vengeance, since it has similar criteria, some small tweaks and adjustments it can solo ISE with minimum pilot skill, thanks 👍🏻
Really Nice build, I put one together..I am missing a few traits..but really nice...I looked through the ships... I transferred it to the Legendary Valdore....using pilot "clean get away" and science in the the universal slot...Everything fits....I would be interested in seeing what you would do......Recursive shearing and vanguard or is that more for groups fights? ...Base ship stats seem slightly better then the Engle... and its ....Romulan....so better...lol. What are your thoughts?
The issue is the loss of Override Subsystem Safeties from Intel. That power buff really helps, especially as you can use it to boost your max aux power and get even more haste from fleet power. As for Recursive + Vanguard, that's more for single target builds. If you want to run it its fine, but I wouldn't drop an uncon and trait for it here.
Too long of a CD and would have to give up too much to shorten it. On top of that, a torpdeo of any kind by itself just cannot hold a candle to a DHC in that slot, esp with a build built around it.
Energy haste is out the wazaoo with power creep, mostly looking at YOU ahwaniee, cause of Fleet Power Network Array, so torpedoes of any kind, save for say the MQTPA from the Achilles won't be needed, and yes Maelstorms, awesome as they are, are to long a cooldown even with custom power matrix giving 20% haste (shield redirect)
As required as it once was, there are now better traits, and thanks to console builds, your haste flies through like The Flash through time, wpn pwr costs covered by iso mags

I'm "Others." ;) But for those who can, yes, the long-standing Emergency Power to Engines + Emergency Weapon Cycle combo is little- to non-existent at the highest end.
It's really not consistent enough in solo DEW - the control on the field isn't strong and fast, and GW1 just ain't there for it. The Khitomer Shield is constantly going off and pretty consistently yielding around 100k.
@@MaraMakesContent A better challenge would just be: 1 event campaign build. That at least gives you access to a promo ship, two c-store ships, and lobi goodies with the obvious caveat that the target is solo ADVANCED content and not solo elite.

Like all your vids very informative and very well laid out , my question is that I have a chunk of this gear ie the world razor trait not account unlock on my Sci toon , how much of a difference will I get dps wise on a tac toon compared to a sci toon , is it worth having a tac rom alien ?
Hi Sab, thanks for the video. I have a comment regarding your boffs: if you would put your EPtE1 in your ensign-slot, your intel leutanant could get VIB1 and your Sci leutanant commander JTS1, TBR1 and GW1. So you don't need to use TB1, which slows you and you need an enemy to trigger it. Furthermore you gain lower cooldowns in total for your UnCon triggers. What do you think?
Is SAD best-in-slot, although it's for the 30 debuff (and not the pet boost) and you have Type 7 debuff and APB 2? Very nice, thanks for the build breakdown! I will adjust my Solo build according to your video with what I have available.
Though Supremacy is a bit better for the -DR, SAD is used here to help give more uptime to Type 7's AoE debuffing powers by forcing them to use FAW more often.
Plasma build with no Lure Team? That's wild. Lure team gives 20% cat 2 passive to Plasma and the console itself has a nasty AoE. Ive see it hit for over 1M to everything, consistently. Esp nasty on a reduction build.
There was also no Torment Engine for 50% extra DoT dmg passive or the phantom projector to bust on their backs with bonus cat 2 dmg, sure those could be slotted for extra dmg, but this build just works :3
Amazing. It sucks that I can’t really get the valdore console to work for me, even with DPRM. I run a FAW cruiser, so I have high hit points. Doesn’t matter. In a typical pug run, I draw so much aggro that I just get absolutely pummeled. Even if I use valdore and DPRM, I can’t stay alive in some cases, especially parked between the cube and gateway. If I parked there solo, I’d last like 5 seconds. But you can just plow through it with an escort…I’m definitely doing some stuff wrong
@@david05111 It heals a ton. What you need to look at is the comparatives between your cannon build and your faw build, the atks-in, the iDPS, and the HPS you're getting.
Still a good console to use, but with the Vovin console and Uncon you can end up with enough console cooldown reduction that you don't "need" Immolating to keep UD up.

Might not be a bug. You are limited to a max of 3 types of DOFFs. 31 of 47 is a security officer. Make sure you don't already have 3 security officers.
why would anyone care about a PVE build? youre fighting bad ai from 15 years ago that isnt even an ai....m you would never last vs another human being. it's why you're NEVER in kerrat. because BAD BUILDS get exposed there.
PvP is its own game…. It’s fun if one’s ego can handle it. However, STO hasn’t conceded much in design planning for PvP resulting in rules and consoles that vastly disturb play balance in PvP. Denizens of Kerrat would call these effects/consoles as “cheese” and make all sorts of rules to neutralize (or frankly ban them) so as to not disturb “balance.” Hard to figure how the community determines that. In any event, the human mind makes for the best challenges… and hence the enjoyment in PvP. On the other hand, the biases of the Human mind, the narrow-mindedness, and limitations of Humanity are also most-reflected in the PvP community… as seen by the responses here. I do not think SAB or even most DPS Chasers would say it’s the best way to measure game success… there are. Any definitions of success in an MMO like STO… including being a master in Kerrat… but driving players away from PvP with that asinine attitude won’t help the long term viability of PvP play. TO each their own, I guess. It reminds me of the self-professed Star Trek fans who don’t like “New Trek” like Discover, Picard, SNW, or Lower Decks. Whatever.

This man really did an energy weapon build and didn't include Emergency Weapon Cycle.
We've moved beyond it, believe it or not.
In our tests, EWC actually yielded lower DPS.

I use rhythmic rumble instead, the cost reduction is crazy good if you can maintain a decent speed, and gives you more survivability.

Why not the Tholian core instead of the Khitomer shield?

The issue with VIB is it has a longer activation time. Can be disruptive. I don't find TB1 to be anywhere near as disruptive

So its confirmed that cannon shots DO have variable travel times by type!

Console has a different user interface, which is limited and does offer the level of ability control you can get on PC with keybinds.

It's able to crit and scales better with buffs. Weaponized Time Crystals gets nowhere close.

You can try the Atlantis. Good spec combo but you're losing out on the hangar bay.
