Great Video and i feel your excitement on remodeling and making good use of spaces. When building a kitchen i would much rather have them leaveout the concrete lower structure because they are a huge waste of space, what i have done is build a pullout slide with 3 tall sides so things don't fall off the sides into no man's land. European/US style cabinets are the way to go as you know. Take care

I put safety hand rail in my thai mother in law bath room , there a lot of new choices these day , can't wait to see how the kitchen turn out , I measure my kitchen, and they gave me a printed lay out with price , just for estimate,same style idea as yours. Just don't forget you in thailand ,and nothing make seance, but it get done
Hey Chuck and Paige, Phone Kaen is a nice place to visit, and I have stayed in that hotel twice. Will probably stay there when I get back from America in August. We are moving to Khon Kaen on the short-term but I will be spending most of my time on the property starting to build.
I prefer Toyotas as well. Japanese car brands are always a solid choice.

We have a Pizza Caffe with Thai food on a lake in Khon Kaen.
We also play golf if you want to hook up for Golf Pizza and beer and a few laughs.
The Cafe is called Marina Cafe its on google maps and face book also tick tok.
You gotta try our Palma ham Pizza its very popular. I am the guy who built the sail boat here in Khon Kaen.

Hi Chuck and Paige I hired Toyota Fortuna at Surat Thani Airport for a week and quite impressed. As you rightly say a SUV is far better and more comfortable drive for us around Chumphon

Please keep a kitchen island- it’s really super useful and practical for meal prep and while cooking- since it’s close to the stove. Instead of constantly walking over the ingredients to the stove.

I took family to waterpark in Khon Kaen day April 11th 2017. No lines,had the park to ourselves.
The bathrooms may be squat toilets or both options.
Everything may be wet from being hosed down.
A mall may have no bum guns, toilet paper and a waste can.
It takes some familiarity and adjustment.
G'day guys, custom-made is always the best. Design the dishwasher, and oven to be elevated rather than positioned low. Pull out drawers rather than cupboard doors. An induction cooktop for cooler cooking, plus a gas cooktop. Eliminate bending over for anything.
It has to stay low for all the tiny ladies that cook in their house
@@dazdragon445 G'day, If you reread my advice, nowhere have I said anything about workbench heights. Dishwashers, under-bench ovens, cupboard doors, and shelves are all on or near the floor. Dishwashers should be mounted about 60cm above the floor. The bottom of the oven should be mid-thigh level. Cupboards below bench level should be pull-out pot drawers and not doors and shelves. This is how I design kitchens for older people to reduce bending over. Bench height should be custom to suit the user as you suggested.

My thai has been in Canada 10 years and still enjoys the floor at times . Is part of the culture that may not change lol

Lol I mis spoke. Only time I pop the hood is to put water for the washer fluid. This is not a job interview, or car and driver episode, but I was a Master tech, And owned a few shops.
I always bring my pillows on road trips.
Golf clubs are great. A boat and fishing gear would be better. Both will improve your mental stability and keep you from going blind.
