Not really, what really hinders track loader use is contractors ignorance and younger operators laziness and lack or talent. There are many jobs where a track loader is the ultimate tool for. And I'm a long time Hoe guy.
I can only agree with Scott. Excavator always need another piece of equipment nearby: a truck to be loaded or a dozer to spread material. TTL can be a standalone units doing both push and load. This said they also pair very well with excavators in applications such as water & sewer: the mobility of track loaders completes very well the efficiency of excavators when static.
@@scottmcquarrie7295 as a hoe and dozer guy i feel ya id love to have a track loader on some of these jobs they are truly amazing machines and i can make a hoe talk lmao
@@paulpeters5199 you dont get it ok.... a freaking track loader can be a dozer with ease.... with very less work for cat it could be a very universal carry machine.... for example like a big skid steer it would be a extreme prifitable machine if you can combine it with much attachments
@@theobserver7643 I have been saying that for years. Cat doesn't want to promote track loaders because they can take market share away from, Excavators, wheel loaders and dozers. They really are a extra large, heavy duty skid steer and with a quick coupler, and a fleet of tools like a six way blade, forks, tree mulcher, Demolition Bucket, side dump bucket for less turning and backfilling, you have a very versatile, useful machine. The six way blade will put a dent in dozer sales itself. Contractors these days aren't really educated in equipment application as much as they think. I see so many contractors these days use a wheel loader, a hoe and a dozer on one job where one crawler loader could do the same job just as efficiently by itself. A crawler loader with a screening machine is an incredible operation.
I've ran a 963d for years, and own and operate a 973C i'd love to try out one of these next gen loaders.
Go and try one you'll love the new generation so much you'll have a hard time getting back to your old 963D!
Really nice machine. I want to run one of these monsters so dang bad...
My dream machine
So cool.
So, what does "improved uptime" mean in plain english?
Think less downtime !
My friend, it is very nice to watch videos, you did a good job. Achievements.
Muy buen video, gracias amigos
Need to place a hydraulic arm lockout bar
Track loaders - the machine that excavators sent to the back 40 scrap heap by the thousand...
