I miss the old 900 series CAT FrontEnd, Loaders. A old Friend of mine worked the Alaska Pipeline job. Ran a 977 Cat Fully inclosed Cab. He said the wildlife would just walk up to the Equipment. Thay had never seen any of this big Steel stuff before.
put a 4 in 1 on all cat track loaders. you can grab anything and do detailed demo---and cut grade with the clam slightly open (using the cutting edge).
@@RPAMEDIA i ran one for a 35 years. taken down 4 story buildings, stripped off asphalt or concrete and raked every bit of dirt out with the the front shanks, dug basements, moved dirt, stripped off vegetation, loaded up to 200 trucks in a day, sifted out rocks, finish graded to with .10 routinely. best machine made.
Man I used to go to work with my dad when I was a kid and ride on the 963 mostly ... My dad was a badass in his hayday.... It was sad to watch him go downhill

They use this just for moving materials and digging up slabs. You won't use a tracked loader with 4 in 1 for detailed demolition
