Hi. Can you recommend a trusted car mechanic for someone who's planning to buy a used car in Fort Collins? Thank you.

I absolutely love the infrastructure and landscaping here. One thing I never noticed until somebody told us is that there are no above ground power lines. The power never seems to go out during storms. And the way the streets are laid out is genius. The suburbs hardly ever get major traffic because the roads are built to circumvent them. This is NOT the case where we came from (WA), so it’s amazing to be able to walk down the beautiful sidewalk with the beautiful landscaping and not see more than 1-2 cars.

Love this! Thank you for sharing! The power lines are a game changer. Or lack there of!

Hello, I'm considering moving to Fort Collins since I've applied to Colorado State. But although I'm satisfied with everything, I'm concerned about the high altitude and if it'll cause me breathing issues like shortness of breath or insomnia. This might sound dumb if it isn't true but that's just what i've read lol. So is that really the case for people that are used to low altitude cities that move to Colorado?

We've had clients from Chicago buy a ranch style home because they didn't want to climb the stairs because of getting short of breath. I think it is something that you quickly become accustomed to.

I’ll mention we moved here last June from Washington state where most places are 200-300’ above sea level. We went from 300’-4500’ and didn’t notice a difference. Doing cardio exercise you might notice it a bit at first.
Where you’ll probably feel it the most is above 8000’ when you go into RMNP or some of the larger mountain areas. That’s where I tend to notice it. Hopefully that helps!
