Hey Patrick, are there any new homes with no hoa's in NorCo?

Transients are a huge problem in Fort Collins. Especially the ones in old town causing problems. Its tough being a business owner here.

We were planning to visit Fort Collins and explore a possible move to the area. We contacted a woman by the name of Patricia from the new Commers Membership in order to get some insight into the area. To our surprise, she was very unwelcoming and offered no help. This left us with a very negative impression of Fort Collins, especially when a so calle. d New Commers Membership person was so unkind. So our concern is if this is the attitude of people in Fort Collins.

Living on the Fort Collins trail system has really changed my lifestyle. Access to gym, shopping, parks etc without getting in the car has been the amenity I never knew I was missing and need.

You missed the gem of FC, Adriel Hills, best kept secret.

We lived in Raindance (Windsor) and I absolutely loved it. We had to move back to CA this last June and I miss it oh so much. Maybe one day we will be back. The community was amazing.

Great video!! There is no utopia. There always will be some give and takes. I look for Climate, and if climate change has affected the area, and what the city or state is doing to mitigate it, the cost of living including median single family home/condo/rental, utilities, groceries (because if you can't can't afford it, everything else is a moot point), healthcare (getting older is no joke), crime and safety, transportation/walkability/bikeability, arts and culture, food and dining, the local economy, (yes, where's the nearest Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, and Apple Store), what amenities are important to have close to me. Political climate is important too, although I respect people's opinion. Once I obtain this information, I usually put it in a spreadsheet and compare where I live now, or another place that's on my radar.

Not to get political, but. If you're looking to move to FoCo. Expect judgmental ignorant mouthy folks. Kinda like Boulder. We love ya though ✌🏻💚

Ft Collins is an overpriced, liberal, California implant filled hellscape. I charge $30 an hour more anytime I have to work there.

S.E. Texas boy here, that's lived in Phoenix 😳 for the last 16yrs. We're getting ready to move to the Loveland-ish area (job opportunity). Looking for a house to buy right as we speak.. It's def gonna be a culture shock moving to a smaller town, and one that snows.. I'm actually kindof excited and concerned to be real, hints why I'm here..

Beyond the use of the VA loan. What strategies have you seen Veterans use in this market. Particularly ones who have 100 % VA disability rating?

Coming from the south, having interracial kids and having a white husband I can honestly say we have always felt welcomed in Colorado. My husband is from Denver and lived in Firestone and when I started visiting him when we were dating I never got a bad vibe. Although I love the south because it’s where I’m from i knew being a mother I didn’t want to raise my kids here due to racial issues even in 2024. We are over the moon to be making the move to Fort Collins soon

Most of your guy's videos are very helpful in researching a potential move to Fort Collins, but this video in particular is super helpful because you actually get a feel of what its like to live there and what your potential commute is gonna be like. Drone footage is awesome but sometimes it just doesn't quite have the feeling like being on the road does. Thank you for video!

My husband and I are visiting the 20th and 21st to check out some of the neighborhoods for a potential move so this video was extremely helpful!

Same thing happened in Ca years ago. People vote in progressives who do want they can to make people that care about their community to move out. Taxes go up, homeless squatters are pampered, city money granted to immigration atty, registering rental property, speed cameras on streets, welcoming illegals. The city has been annexing poor neighborhoods and not installing sidewalks just to tip the voters to DEMS, The voters also just approved salaries to city council. Now this non-accomplished activists have jobs and will never leave. So sad.

Number 9: ozone levels in the summer have gotten so that air quality is poor almost every day. Number 10: we’re near Rocky Mountain National Park, but you have to get a reservation these days to enter most of the time. We also have a lot of nearby state and county parks, but it can be hard to find parking. Number 11: Housing is ridiculously expensive for what you get. Number 12: traffic is ridiculous these days. Speeding and red-light running has gotten so bad that cameras are now back in operation, with a lot of people complaining about that. Number 13: shopping is pretty limited. You used to be able to run down to the Denver area to hit a Container Store or Pottery Barn, but now the traffic makes you think twice about that.

10-15 yrs behind FC? More like 20-30 😂 I thought Thompson school district was one of the worst, so Im very happy to hear that My biggest pet peeve: DRIVING in Loveland, ridiculous speed limits and you guys dont own Snow Trucks so its terrible in the winter You have a great Korean restaurant ❤ Also I HATE that nobody votes for any type of city improvement, all the selfish retired Trumpers

at the CSU hosted Rail meeting the panel said Fort Collins to Pueblo would take just under 3hrs with current rail lines and technology (tier 4 diesel train), average train speed to be around 80mph. They estimate the sales tax to be $.02 on every $10.
