Wow. Wow. I don't even recognize Tokyo. Glass & Steel. What an awesome train. Comfort all around. $167 is a bargain. The last time I was in Tokyo was from December 1974 to March 1978. Yes the Military at Camp Zama.

I enjoy watching your videos. They are very peaceful whilst being informative. The complete opposite of a lot of TH-cam videos where someone is talking/shouting all the way through.
Even the regular class seats on the Shinkansen are spacious and comfortable.

This brings back memories. I lived in Japan till I was 7 and we would always take Shinkansen from Kyoto to Tokyo for Disneyland. I was sad when we moved to California, as we don’t have a good railway system here. However it’s very beautiful here and it feels a bit like Scotland in the East Bay Area. Thanks for sharing 🇯🇵💕

I love your videos. And I understand it is not easy to do everything with one hand filming. But the beer-pouring scene had me frustrated, everyone knows you are supposed to tilt the glass when pouring beer. Keep up with making videos dude, they really are blissful and great.

luxury goes out the door when you have to share a bathroom with strangers whether it’s a train, plane, hotel or boat or even at home a dedicated bathroom and other services including a door that locks when you want to sleep … in this train all the seats are reserved so you have a crowd with no exclusivity at all
The Shinkansen's speed is almost a bad thing. It means the trip is shorter...but you do get there faster. Guess it depends on if you're doing it for the trip or just the destination. 🤔
wow, the train service in Japan is spectacular, some people think flying is faster, but you can hop on the train and be there in the time it takes to go through the airport and get on the plane, and at the end of the train you are in the city, ready to explore instead of going from the airport for 45 min just to get into the city

Omg!!! The bathroom “high chair” is brilliant. Instead of having to try to pee/have woman’s time of the month with a 2 yo and keep them from pressing all the buttons/digging in the trash, you can throw them in the high chair and do your business. I wish America was like this 😭😭
