In order to secure a ticket, you have to finish everything from seat selection to payment within a few seconds from when the ticket is released. It's because there's a lot of competition.

I am very impressed with how immaculate trains are in Japan compared to USA trains and USA service. In addition, regardless of whether you happen to be at a hotel or on a train, or in a bathroom, etc., everything seems that it has been well thought out for almost any customer that may use any service in super detail. Thank you for taking your time and effort to show everything for those interested in seeing more of Japan and the countryside and the various cities. I have only been in a Narita Airport for a few hours layover (2011) and my parents were stationed in Tokyo and married (back in 1953) and spent a couple of years there. Once again thank you for doing all these videos. I hope at some future time to actually go and visit Japan for a week or two. I will still watch as you have other videos available.😀

Absolutely stunning, I was just telling a co worker that there is so much pride and self respect ingrained in the Asian culture, I wish we had half of it in America, that train would be destroyed, not a single place without graffiti, they would loot and steal from it, they are why we can't have anything nice in America, so grateful for you sharing this rare experience ❤

Very nice video. For a supposedly efficient country, getting the tickets is not efficient at all. Have to pay for the private car, then the express train, then finally the actual ticket to get on the train. Seems like a huge hassle and for at least 3 people, and what if you forget to get one ticket. Seems like a a huge waste of time and money. Doesn’t even look like anyone escorts you to your private car. That table look like it has seen better days, should be replaced. Also the service seems pretty slow, which I would have expected to be much better.
