I hear many people say that WBB has exploded solely from the performances of Caitlyn Clark. But not for me.
Several years ago I watched a grand total of zero Wbb games. During a TSL podcast Evan Hughes stated that everyone needs to watch the Acc tournament and see Liz Kitley play. When I turned on the game was in the 4th...no Liz no Cayla. They were both injured. So I sat down and watched number 5 single handed beat Unc in overtime of a thrilling game. I was hooked and told all my friends and family. And they are now all hooked. We went to many games the last 2 years.
We were sure Georgia was gone and headed to pros this year. When she committed to Kentucky we were upset. We were still in shock that Kenny wanted to go anywhere other than VT. However, we all wish the best for Georgia . I was surprised to hear her state that people were so negative towards her . And absolutely shocked that she was threatened. I can't imagine anyone I know every thinking to write her and saying anything negative. Although I wish she completed her career as a Hokie, I understand and wish her well.

The way Coach Brooks left with no parting statement tells me they was an issue with VT or maybe the ACC. Can’t blame Georgia for following him , but both played up how great VT is and the ACC is the best WBB conference .
You have to wonder if Liz would have followed Coach Brooks if she had another year of eligibility?
Agree. That rubbed Hokie Nation wrong. Just a simple social media post would have sufficed.
I think Liz probably would’ve gone with KB as well, but we’ll never truly know
