Disagree with the steelers grade. "boring picks", no, not flashy, yes. But the picks were generally all above value. Fautanu and Frazier did go pretty close to where they were projected but Roman and Payton were projected high seconds that got taken in the third and fourth
Barry is just mad that the Steelers are trending upwards and meanwhile his Eagles are coming off a horrific ending to last season and now have Kenny Pickett on their roster.

Barry has gone from making videos proving Brady is a system QB & that Rodgers has been let down by his team's defense to spewing empty memes way too much for my liking. Then he came out with that system of rating player effectiveness all on his own which staggers me.
But then he sinks too often to spewing empty memes again. "By all means, Barry, tell us which star QB would have had 40 TDs had *they* been on the Panthers this year." Nope, too much analysis. Bryce Young is a bust Because I Sayeth So.
Thankfully other creators have taken up the challenge. Cian Fahey (a real yet somehow less believable name than Barry's) did a video isolating what Young & Stroud do before bad play-calling or lack of on-field talent sabotages them & what do you know, just like the preseason they are the Same QB in different circumstances, down to the footwork.

I'm still waiting for one of these guys to have the balls to do a split-screen video of Justin Fields doing everything successfully in the NFL stuff that Caleb has so far only had the opportunity to do in college. How can someone be heralded as the second coming when his entire skill set & the level of it is a duplicate of a complete bust?
I can't explain the reason Fields is the target of so much unreasoning hate. He made the Bears pre-D.J. Moore the #1 offense for 3 weeks straight & they lost all 3 of those games. & not one person blamed the HC, the play-calling or anyone but Fields.
*All* the Fields criticisms are 100% unwarranted & due to play-calling.

The chargers have been avoiding right tackle for years they had to take a tackle if you think about it the tackle was the smart pick in a stacked receiver class.
Especially when Herbert has been playing injured the past 2 years. But hey, if the Chargers fans want the next Andrew Luck cause they wanted Nabers at 5 instead of Alt, they can have that. Then they’d bitch and moan about how the Chargers never drafted any lineman to protect Herbert😂

Two things. First, Tory Taylor has a chance to be the goat punter and was 100% going to be gone by the 5th. If they felt someone was going to grab him before they did I think it's worth it.
Second, Malik Washington for Miami is a steal. He is top four in every positive receiver stat from this past season and leads a few of the categories. The other three guys went top 10. If he was slightly taller he would have gone top 10 easily.

something to point out is that the Bill's didn't have a 1st round grade on worthy, so its likely other teams didnt as well and he wouldve most likely still been there for the chiefs at 32. By trading back 5 spots, the Bills picked up 124 draft slots in value of later picks that jumped up while also saving $4 million in cap space by not having a 1st round pick, due to the rookie wage scale.
All of this ^^^ also worthy had more than a few drops and at only 165lbs imo wouldn't be the X type the Bills were looking for.
I’ve been saying this. Why are we clowning the Bills when the Chiefs are the ones who traded up when they absolutely didn’t need to and then drafted a 160lbs receiver with sub-par hands. Like bro 😂. And considering the fact that KC has only drafted one good receiver in the last 3 or 4 years makes this pick even more questionable

I feel liek everyone forgets this about the bills draft trade is that the bills were never going to draft Worthy, especially since he doesn't fit the scheme. On top of this, the only other team that was looking for a wide out between the bills and chiefs picks was the 49ers, who don't really throw the ball deep. It was clear also that buffalo was gonna get out of the first round and probably didnt straight up trade with carolina because they didnt have the right value stuff for the 28th pick

The argument for taking Nix high was basically that if they didn't, the Raiders would have (I've seen some Raiders fans dispute this, but their QB tandem is AOC and Minshew, so let's not pretend it wasn't at least a possibility). Rumors seem to indicate that Nix has been Payton's guy for a while, so they really didn't want to risk not getting him.

Plus, worthy is fast, nothing else. All YDS are Scrim, had 60 rec, 62 rec, and 75 rec, while most WRs in the same games per year can get 85-90. Bro dropped more balls than a boy the moment the age of 13 hits.

11:21 He was picked that high because the Broncos basically had to take a QB and with the Falcons taking Penix at 8, their only option was Nix unless they wanted to take a chance on Rattler or Travis. I think the Broncos were probably going to try and trade into the second round for Penix, but there was no way Nix was making it past the Raiders at 13. This is also the reason why anyone who tries to say Sean Payton and George Patton "mind tricked" the Vikings into trading up is a moron, the Broncos were never trading up, and their entire draft got blown up by the Falcons, so they had to take a guy who was a second round maybe late first at best instead of one of the dudes who would have probably been a Top 5 pick in any other draft.
exactly. too many people look at the draft in a vacuum as if no other picks happened or are going to happen. nix was likely the best QB left in the draft and it wasnt worth the risk to trade back and then be stuck with someone who might not be an upgrade over youre existing QB room.

Barry I'm sorry but what the hell is that rationale for the steelers grade. By far o line was the biggest question mark at this point in the offseason and the addressed every position in that position group with great value in all 3 rounds. I'm sorry they didn't get a "flashy" pick but they literally had a home run draft for what they needed. Is the only way to have a great draft is to need players at exciting positions like receiver and quarterback?? Jeez what a erroneous take.

Love my Chiefs first-round pick, but my favorite pick in the whole draft was Maryland DB Raheeb Still going 4th round to the Cell Phone chargers. He's my distant cousin that I'm not related to (have the same last name.) Instant fan of the guy even though he's a division rival. Future all pro and Hall of Famer

As a chargers fan, I think most of us are happy with Joe Alt given we got Ladd, he’s no nabers but it something to work with and Justin Herbert has made pros out of mid receivers his whole career. (Not that Ladd is mid)
Prediction before I watch the video: Barry is only going to get excited about quarterbacks and receivers and he thinks defense is stupid and nobody should ever stop anybody from scoring touchdowns.

Barry, probably shouldn't do anymore Draft coverage if you're not going to take it seriously. I know you addressed the "Falcons trading up to get Penix" already, but the biggest need also wasn't a CB - it was definitely DL which is why everyone was certain the Falcons would select Dallas Turner.
Bills traded w the Chiefs to get a 3rd rounder bc we traded ours for Rasul Douglas, we didn’t want Xavier Worthy and we proved that by trading w them. Bills also had a surplus of players we wanted available at 33 and Josh said out of all the receivers, he wanted Keon Coleman most

The raiders had a solid draft bro.. there wasn't a quarterback worth drafting at any of our spots. You have to grade who we drafted and the value. Don't sleep on minshew. His 2 years starting in Jacksonville he put up more touchdowns, fewer interceptions and a higher quarterback rating than Trevor Lawrence in his 3 years. He's low key dope

I really don’t get the issues people have with Joe Alt at 5. Herbert’s been playing injured the past 2 seasons, it won’t matter what receiver you draft #5 if your QB is playing injured…or worse, injured and not playing and you have a Walmart employee throwing to the #5 overall pick instead. OT>WR. Especially in a deep WR class like this past one was. Joe Alt is way more likely to be a starter than whatever other tackle they would be looking at down the board.
