I'm not sure I follow - we don't have stack numbers built in as this was all done in 1.1 and we didn't have the stack combinator mod. All I missing something?
21:35 - That core station is for a future rework of the core processing area (if it happens) as it's higher priority cores than from mines. The one above that's a mix of cores and sand is essentially a downstream station so it can just get rid of anything (although if the core upgrade happens, it could be switched over to purely sand)
Love these videos of late game sek2. I am approaching naq in my run and this gives me some inspiration for the megabase that is to come after I finished my sa run ofc
Thanks! Naquium is a slightly different challenge to others because of the logistic quantities and the number of ingredients required, but we're here for the challenges. Enjoy arcospheres!
18:10 - "Changed the GROUND downstream stations" ;-) I think I might have been talking about the ones that take junk from south of the elevator over to the core area. There are 2 stations there and the train limits are set based on the number of trains heading to the other station to keep them reasonably balanced. So if one station doesn't have any trains, the next train is gonna head there
15:20 - Mineral water and oil are produced from patches as well as cores whereas pyroflux is only produced by cores. So there's always mineral water/oil available to barrel to send off which means the barrels made from core chunk iron get taken for them first and the pyroflux fills up and stops the core chunks from being processed so we stop getting barrels.
Ah, I missed the extra mineral water supply from mines. Sounds like it would make sense to just top up the main mineral water tank from the mines when it's
@@LaurencePlays That's what it was doing but that means there's always some in there so it always takes all the barrels so the pyroflux fills up. It's not a mineral water from cores issue, it's a pyroflux from cores issue. Having them in the opposite order would also have worked but that's a more major rework
22:22 - Well, you can stop complaining about that because we're not. That was temporary while the train system was set up for it :-) (see the belt arriving from below)
Yeah, the production of the new panels wasn't keeping up with demand. And even when you can afford them, they're still less resource efficient than the holmium ones. Which, to be fair, are probably less efficient than the blue space ones, but I don't have to be consistent 😊
8:22 surprised they aren't doing stack counting instead of the simple item count method

Ah, gotcha. I had a feeling that it was for future purposes, but couldn't remember what the plans were there.

Ah, the ground downstream stations! I'll have to take a look at that in the next video. 🙂

Very glad to hear it! I noticed that it didn't seem to be wired up properly, but didn't investigate it. Ooops.
23:00 and especially after architextual victory panels become cheap. Why not naq panells? Throuput limited on naq?
