I completely love the fact that the larger screen is not interrupted by a stupid camera cut-hole
Yes, this is so underrated
Your voice is so therapeutic 🥹
My job uses Google workplace so I’m hoping the next Pixel Fold comes with improvements including stylus support. Still using the Z Fold 4 but I’ll see how the next iterations of Samsung and Google goes.
Earned a sub from me. Pretty much my thoughts on the pixel fold...on the one plus open now but I go back to it from time to time.
My second one is being shipped as we speak from eBay. I sold my first one and regretted it the second I did it. I absolutely love the Duo and this is the closest to the form factor with the updated hardware. I currently use the OnePlus Open and it is overall the best foldable I have used but I can't get past no wireless charging and my love for the form factor of the GPF. Thanks for the great video!
Good video. I am hoping the fold 6 has a bit of a wider outer screen.
Great video! Im from Vancouver, Canada, and I've always contemplated the Pixel Fold. I'm right now stuck between a Galaxy Fold 5 and Pixel 8 Pro. I love the Fold for its fold features and multitasking, but hate its slight microjitters and camera. I absolutely love the Pixel 8 Pros camera and UI smoothness. I wonder if youve used OneUI 6.1 on a S24 Ultra. Ive heard people say its a gamechanger with the smoothness. Great video again!
Thank you! Hopefully, Canada gets the Pixel Fold 2 this year.
I've been messing around with an s24 ultra, and OneUi 6.1 definitely feels smooth. I'm not sure if it's the hardware or the software, but the 24 ultra is definitely the smoothest samsung device I've had in the past couple of years. Idk if it's a game changer, though, because if you prefer pixel/iPhone animations, you might never be satisfied with Oneuis animations regardless of how smooth it is.
@@JamaltlLee that's great to hear about the S24U. I didn't really think of the animation differences between Samsung and Google, just the smoothness. Now it'll be tough; even like you said, the Pixel Fold doesn't have nearly as much multitasking features as the Galaxy Fold. I feel you really get your money's worth when getting a Samsung, depending on if you use the features!
Can I ask what video editing software you're using at 3:03? I'm new to your channel, sorry if it's been mentioned before.
No worries, I'm using LumaFusion at that part in the video.
I like this phone a lot. The main frustration for me is the weight. It's just too heavy to use comfortably so I feel like I'm constantly going back to my iPhone. Great video!
I hear that. It is a heavy phone. Thanks for watching 🙏🏿🙏🏿.
Great vid, and I almost bought this phone but opted for the P8P instead. But that bigger screen would have been great for reading Ebooks! Well, even the 8 pro is but the fact the Tensor G2 is still pretty good is impressive!
Thank you 🙏🏿. The pixel fold 2 should be a great device if you ever change your mind about getting a foldable.
@@JamaltlLeeyou're welcome! I definitely will consider the fold 2!
Good stuff dude!
After using my phone for approximately four months, I have come to the conclusion that it presents both positive and negative aspects. While I appreciate the innovative foldable design from Google and the user-friendly interface they provide, there are certain issues that arise which are unexpected for a device in this price range. For instance, it encounters compatibility challenges when utilizing third-party launchers such as Nova Launcher. Additionally, some of the recently introduced features have resulted in frequent system crashes. Most notably, the processor's performance falls short of expectations.
Would you say you regret getting the pixel fold? And will you be getting another foldable after this one, despite potential challenges and issues like you mentioned with this one?
@JamaltlLee Yeah, I would definitely get another foldable. I don't know if it'll be from Google anytime soon, but I'm going to go back to the Z Fold series. Hopefully, if they do some things correctly, if not, I'll just stick it out with the S24 Ultra.
The taskbar is persistent if you turn on 3-button navigation
Pixel Fold is cheaper than ever and way worth it for pure Android - $500 off with no trade-in, another $900 if you do a base iPhone 14 Pro Max 128GB - making the unit $400... THAT'S INSANE VALUE right now.
You can't go wrong at all for $400
Trade in an iPhone pro max? Id wait for black Friday or if/when they announce the fold 2 at Google io for it to drop even more
I just got one on ebay for $650
Any features missing when running it in Canada? Works on Robelus?
There's no features missing as far as I know, and it should work on all carriers in Canada because it has all bands we use here.
You can check this site for that kind of info:

Nice one
Someone who still plays Pokemon unite 😭 that game traumatized me
😂😂 why??
What editing app is that??
Lumafusion!
@@JamaltlLee Thanks for the reply
I have a Pixel fold. It's far too heavy and seems to be unloved by Google when it comes to feature drops. I want to use it as my daily driver but the weight is off putting.
The lack of feature drops from Google is super wack. I hear you on the weight, it's definitely a heavier phone.
jesus christ man do some pushups if you find a phone to be heavy, you must find a laptop outright debilitating
"daily driver" christ
@@amvlabs5339 "Christ", your passion is admirable. The only thing I find debilitating, is your overreacting to someones comment on TH-cam 😂
