Part of the reason the jazz one probably works so well is that Megalovania takes a lot from the blues scale, with the opening theme and little solo that comes in almost exclusively using blues scale notes (at least at first).
This is not creative actually, its just an IA making the most obvious rendition. There is no chance that this replace a human improvising and creating.

Like in GAN networks these two adversaries inside us compete over our lives as we practice, just like GANs getting more creatively expressive over time. (toddlers scribble = first iteration static) becomes (experienced artist painting from the heart = GAN generation after 1M iterations)

MuseNet lets you re-generate each section (denoted by the white bars), and because the network isn't deterministic it'll result in something different. It actually spit out quite a lot of garbage, but I just kept retrying until it gave something good
