Hey guys, some of you mentioned that I attached the running gear in wrong order and the right side should be reversed. Unfortunately I can't double check it because I don't have the kit instructions anymore, but if I remember correctly I looked at the instructions several times while I was building it for this exact reason. The box art also suggests this is how it was intended, so maybe it was a mistake on their side and I blindly followed it, or it was done on purpose since it's a fictional vehicle and they wanted to make the running gear look different than the Sdkfz 251 which had the same wheels and tracks 🤔 Also, I just finished building the next model, and there are tons of photos of it on Patreon, including some fresh and cool HD pics, a small photo tutorial and lots of daily updates from the construction process 🤤
For those who don't know- the left and the right gear pattern in this Rutscher is not correct. It's easy to notice once you see that the rear wheels are placed differently. Obviously, this is a huge mistake from the model brand, but it's really weird that they messed it up like this. To me, personally, it doesn't really matter but it's something to point out if someone gets to build this model and make the same mistake that the box art and the manual shows.
Indeed the design from Amusing have a fail in that point. All german vehicles have his wheels order mirorred for a reason of stability and gravity center. They dont research enought and for that all kits came with that fail.
You are a God! Last time I did any kit modelling it was Tamya German Tigers in 1973. Me and my mate made dioramas for them and took Polaroid photos. Watching you has reconnected me with the thrill and boyhood imagination of that long forgotten creative process! My thanks!
This guy is ace, the attention to detail is insane. Good job dude. I dont even paint or make models but I always watch as they are relaxing as hell Haha.
Ja, Ja kleine panzer zehr gut! Really enjoyed this series. I think you made the right choice not adding any stowage. The number of different technique and details done with the tank itself really helped demonstrate the value of technique, over blowing your pocket money on after-market stuff. Looking forward to the next model! -Martin
I keep thinking the same thing!.. although it almost feels like a prank to ask for considering some of the tank designs and kit qualities xD But thats part of why iam so curious
Ja, ja, kleine panzer gut! I have recently stumbled upon your channel and appreciate the content which you upload. Not only helps aspiring hobbyiests with little tips and tricks, but also there is something to be said that is the appreciation for dedication and work into your craft - which you clearly enjoy.
JA JA, KLEINE PANZER GUT. very happy with how these videos go. I am happy with whatever you want to build next. You know you've got in stash and what you love to build. If someone really loves a certain type of model, the passion shows in their videos. Keep them coming when you can. 👍🇦🇺
Der kleine Panzer ist sehr gut mein herr. Absolutely awesome result. A fitting end to great series. Looking forward to the next one. My Saturday morning addiction continues to raise the bar. Best wishes and as always G’day from Australia mate.
I just want thank you for all content that you share with community. With your help I finished my first model which I actually buyed few years ago and buried it in my drawer. You movies motivated me to buy paints and finish the job ;)
Night Shift, I LOVE your opening sequence from 0:24 - 0:30. It makes me laugh every time. Anyway, outstanding work sir! Thank you for taking the time to share your techniques with us. I am doing a lot of what you taught, even though I'm an aircraft modeler.
Your videos are the absolute best on TH-cam! I love your sense of humor, and you really have the most sophisticated techniques. Great work and keep them coming!
Loved the series. One of the things I like most about your videos is that you not only explain the technique, but most importantly the reasoning behind it. This makes it extra special. Your models are also awesome. Or as we would say here in OZ - nicely done mate 👍🏻
Ja, ja, kleine panzer gut. Stumbled across your channel and enjoyed learning a new painting process for models. I typically paint Warhammer 40k, so it was interesting to see how tank models differ from humanoids and monsters. Keep up the good work my friend, and keep on painting!
Love you work mate! And some one who i aspire to! Both in modeling and how you present your videos in both you give me so much😁!! Id love to see you do 3 things though!! A diorama and and aircraft i think these would be amazing series, one id love to see how you attack them and how honest , fun , derailed and informative you videos are i can never wait for the next instalment!! Much love Sully🤙🏻
Ja, ja, Kleine Panzer Gut! Hello from Australia! I love your modelling videos and I find your approach to be amazing, understandable, and modest! I'll keep watching what ever you put out!
even with smokeless powder you still get plenty of residue, a combination of the burn off from the powder, unburnt powder, and lead residue. and it gets everywhere. i dont know how things are where you live but if you can go shooting, especially handguns, or rifles with muzzle breaks on them, you'll notice after a magazine or so you're hands will have a noticeable layer of residue building up on them, it's amazing how far that stuff can go when the rifle has a muzzle break
Ja, ja, kleine panzer gut! :D Looks so awesome now its finally finished, i loved this series and cant wait for the next video to arrive. Little details are great on models as they really show the effort you've put into it and really makes a model glow, or shine, or idk look all mucky and weathered =D Such a great little tank model and a great job painting it ^^ happy valentines too ;)
Ja, ja. Kleine panzer gut! :D Thanks for this series. I'm about to start new project and I want to use this and previouz videos of yours as a step by step guide on how to do it :)
JA, JA, KLEINE PANZER GUT! I would like the next video after the custom camo profiles to be about your weld bead tool made from a toothpick and a soda can. I’m still waiting for it.
Hi Uncle! It's finished. Always a nice feeling when you get to the end of a project. Superb work throughout (as usual!) builds into a great little model. Fantastic stuff. Thanks for sharing, can't wait to see what comes next. Ja, ja, kleine panzer gut! - that'll teach me to comment before the vid is finished.... :(
Excellent series as always, your videos are always a welcome treat, and so informative. I feel that my armor weathering has made great strides, and I am beginning to experiment with my own techniques. Also I see some applications you use that I want to try on aircraft models, they got dirty too.
Thanks for lots of entertainment and inspiration! You make it all look very easy, and it probably is with enough practice. Lots of your techniques should be very useful on my current project (1/35 Kugelblitz).
Love watching your video's I'm getting back into scale modeling after about a 20 year hiatus and it's scary but amazing on how things have change. Thank You for all the great instructional videos. I would also love to see you do something from Warhammer or a Plane. JA, JA, KLEINE PANZER GUT. Break your jaw lol
Ja, Ja, kleine panzer gut! but in all seriousness. This, and like many of your other builds have helped my modelling leaps and bounds. Thank you very much.
@@gstealer11 hell, I think Martin just doing one of the suits would be awesome. But I definitely would want to see a Nutrocker or Kröte done up by him aswell.
Crazy German...I assume you are German...your english is perfect....as are your models....I was able to achieve similar years ago when I was serious moddler but not so much now,im getting back into it and seeing your videos (among others) you have restored my memories of how its done...I think now im ready to get good results....thank you...also very funny too ...top channel.
I know you said this was a vehicle that didn't make production, but it would be interesting to see the barrels camoflaged with say some foliage to disguise the "new" barrels.
Ja, ja, kleine panzer gut! 👍
That moment when night shift and plasmo upload on the same day.
👌

Well, tracks were often installed incorrectly on actual tanks by the crews so no harm done there Martin!
Ja, ja, kleine panzer gut! I watched whole series and dang it - looks so awesome! Good job Uncle Night Shift!
You are a God! Last time I did any kit modelling it was Tamya German Tigers in 1973. Me and my mate made dioramas for them and took Polaroid photos. Watching you has reconnected me with the thrill and boyhood imagination of that long forgotten creative process! My thanks!
Time to give the hobby another chance? :)

I build lots of models, however, I do not ever weather them.

I'd love seeing you do your magic on a Warhammer 40k tank!
OH DEAR GOD, PLZ YES
I keep thinking the same thing!.. although it almost feels like a prank to ask for considering some of the tank designs and kit qualities xD
But thats part of why iam so curious
Nice, very nice. Without the videos, one would never know the extras that went into this little tank.
You are the best modeler I have ever seen,I don’t have even words
What a great finish Martin. There was lots of great stuff to chew on in this video series. Cheers!
Brill work. I've just built a Hetzer in a 1944 Warsaw Uprising setting. Your videos helped me bring it to the next level.

Uncle Night Shift, I'd like to say excellent work on this model (as always)
Hope you had as much fun making it as we had watching you!
Glad you enjoyed it! It was a breath of fresh air for me, vivid camouflage + a very small tank in 35th scale, super fun!
Ja, Ja, Kleine Pazer Gut. Great Series of videos man. Really enjoyed following along. This has convinced me to look into you Patreon.
Just went back and rewatched this series in preparation for a hard edge ww1 scheme. Always great tips !
A fine way to finish this kit & series of videos.
It's a treat to have weekly updates to look forward to. Thanks Uncle Night Shift. 😎
The detail and discussion in this series is excellent. Please do it again for an Allied tank.

Fantastic Martin, a pleasure to see your mastery.
Outstanding video series once again! Looking forward to your next video.

Thanks for this series. I'm about to start new project and I want to use this and previouz videos of yours as a step by step guide on how to do it :)
Excellent work as usual 👍 You are right about stowage, it would make it too busy and as late war vehicle it would look out of place anyway.
I watched the whole series but not gonna comment that lmao
I’m hyped for the next model
Thank you for another amazing start to finish how-to video.
Amazing piece of art u have created there 👌 Cant wait to see ur next project. Greetings from Germany. #Ja, ja kleine panzer gut 👍
Thank you very much for the series on this model - really learned a lot! :)
JA, JA, KLEINE PANZER GUT!
I would like the next video after the custom camo profiles to be about your weld bead tool made from a toothpick and a soda can. I’m still waiting for it.

Ja, ja, kleine panzer gut! - that'll teach me to comment before the vid is finished.... :(
_Hi Uncle! It's finished._
Fantastic effects and weathering.
Love your all your different series. Would kill to see you tackle one of the bigger Maschinen Krieger armor type kits.
Made it to the end!!!
Looks great!
Ja, ja, kleine panzer gut!
Awsome work!!
Martin!, you never cease to amaze me, this model is absolutely fantastic. i can only hope that in the future i can create sure masterpieces as this
I really like this model, it looks incredible! And i love the camouflage, it reminds me of later soviet "Moldova" pattern.
Amazing work! Thanks for sharing!
Ja ja Kleine Panzer Gut!!! Every Friday isn’t complete without a video from uncle night shift!
Most impressive finishing touches as usual, awesome job as usual...and congrats!
Excellent series as always, your videos are always a welcome treat, and so informative. I feel that my armor weathering has made great strides, and I am beginning to experiment with my own techniques. Also I see some applications you use that I want to try on aircraft models, they got dirty too.
I don't care if I get yelled at in class for watching this video its well worth it. Spectacular work btw
Great work! Lots of great ideas for my future builds.
Thanks for lots of entertainment and inspiration! You make it all look very easy, and it probably is with enough practice. Lots of your techniques should be very useful on my current project (1/35 Kugelblitz).

Enjoyed this series, thanks for the videos. Turned out great 👍
Thank you , Martin.
Nice work , as usual .
Ja , Ja , Kleine Panzer Gut , Dank .
You ought to try something funky, like a Maschinen Krieger kit!
I like to see what he could do with a Krote or Nutcracker... such amazing work
@@gstealer11 hell, I think Martin just doing one of the suits would be awesome. But I definitely would want to see a Nutrocker or Kröte done up by him aswell.
Ja ja, nice idea! :)
I want to see MASCHINEN KRIEGER LUM-168 CAMEL
Absolutely brilliant result and so many interesting techniques! Learned a lot during this series! (and: Jaja kleiner Panzer sehr gut!)
Excellent series! Looking forward to more.
Youre doing absolute greatness mate!
9:00 yes that was the hatch for the hand crank for cold starts. Pretty standard on German vehicles. Tiger has a similar one
Love your tutorials. Helpful, interesting & funny.
Really nice final product Martin, thanks for the tips!!
Ja, ja, kleine panzer gut!
Awesome little model 👍
Ja, ja, kleine panzer gut! Amazing work
You have gotten me back into the hobby. been discouraged for years, after a model of mine 2as stolen...
was stolen...you are an inspiration.
Ja ha Panzer gutt! Looks amazing mate! Looking forward to the next project

As always Martin, inspirational !!!!!!!!!!!!
Really enjoyed this series!
I like the finished project. How about tackling a German Disc Camo build?
You build with a lot of details, just layer on top of layer on top of layer ect . Nice vid and great work
Perfect result. Especialy track and wheels looks very good. But rest looks also very nice. All the best for You! ;)
I'd love to see what you can do with the red oxide only. By the end of the war paint was scarce so lots of tanks came out just with red oxide applied.
I know you said this was a vehicle that didn't make production, but it would be interesting to see the barrels camoflaged with say some foliage to disguise the "new" barrels.
Ja, ja, kleine panzer gut!! Suppergut, greetings from Spain 😊👍
Ja, ja, kleine Panzer gut
Looking forward to the next one, I really need to build some armor along with my aircraft
Great job again, Martin!
Some scraps of cam netting would look nice mate 😉👍
Looks fantastic as usual dude.
Thanks for the tutorial.
Tony
Ja, ja, kleine panzer gut! ;-)
What about making a model of a modern tank with weathering (in a similar way to this one) sometimes?
We're getting there, but I'll stick with WW2 for a little longer :)
Ja Ja kleine Panzer gut mein Bruder !
Awesome video like every weeks...
