● Watch the gorgeous 1967 Lamborghini Marzal Concept by Bertone in action during the 2019 Concorso d'Eleganza at Villa d'Este. The car sat on a Miura chassis, its wheelbase extended by 120mm to provide the required extra space to accomodate a pair of full-size rear passengers, and the engine is a 2.0 liter inline six, formed from the rear bank of the 4.0 liter Lamborghini V12!

This car must’ve looked like complete insanity in 1967, I love this car. The more I look at it and see how it works the cooler it becomes. Even how the door mechanisms use springs and driveshaft is awesome

@@huesos_azules Neither does a Lotus Esprit, but it was one in the Bond movie. The same concept was used for the Marzal in the Grand Theft Auto 5 video game.
Can we appreciate this Toreador owner for not only resisting the urge to destroy the other vehicles with its lock on missiles but also not showing off its awesome boost ability !!!
And don’t get me started on them NOT becoming a submarine and exploring the near by water
Imagine driving that every day and leaving it out in the hot sun while you go on a shopping trip or meet up with some friends. Those non tinted windows would let in A LOT of heat.

Yes. It was sold by Sotheby’s in 2011for €1.5m (cheap really considering its a one off concept), it was in the Bertone Design Museum. Not sure if it still is.
yup... owned by the same collector that has the Miura Roadster, one of the Svj, the cheetah, the Faena, the 350gtv, the 350gts,the 3500 gtz, the zagato 5-95, the athon, the marzal, a replica of the first LP500 on request.... plus the last ones of the few-offs (sian, centenario, ecc....)

You do realize we went thru decades driving miatas, mgbs, crx, motorcycles corvettes n corvairs with most people not dying. I just don’t let suburbans hit me. you can drive on the shoulder or run a red light it’s called defensive driving. Also crashing in a suv can kill you as well.
It comes with stock nitro and can become a transformer so it can turn into a submarine too?

I had a dinky toy version of this car in lime green back on the 60s and it's the car I always remember. Just found it here and it's a 2.0 ltr concept car? What a disappointment

Perhaps I am different as my Iconic lambo ... (a white) 1967 Lamborghini Marzal ... or perhaps "1968 Alfa Romeo Bertone Carabo" in green with orange bumpers (bertone 'insect period' prototype, NOT by any means the Scarabeo 😳) ... google the name above for images.
