Before seeing any guides I've been running Spiderman, Iron Man, and Cap has my main squad. They just seem to mesh perfectly together. Glad to know it's a meta squad as well
Never really thought to do that, I did make one video commentating over some ultimate 3 footage a while back: th-cam.com/video/_Ul1nKk-kcY/w-d-xo.html Deadpool DLC drops tomorrow. So I might do a little lets play on his story? :)
@@Channel5Gaming i saw your video on how to target those mods without wasting your resources, the effort you put on your videos is insane men nice job 👍🏻
Thanks for all the guides, they're great! I hope to see a Hunter guide at some point, I'm extracting tidbits from your other videos but having everything in one place would be awesome
For my "Hellfire Beam" build, I got rid of "Air Superiority." There's no need for "Air Superiority" if I'm gonna one shot everything on my first turn using 2 Hellfire Beams. I replaced "Mark Target" with another "Leave It to Me."
My preferred Iron Man build is: 2x Quick Blast (Draw Iron Man card on KO) 2x Leave it to Me w/ +2 Heroism mod 2x Precision w/ +2 Redraws mod Surgical Strike w/ Apply 1 Marked mod Hellfire Beam w/Draw Card Mod This build is all about the Surgical Strike. As such, the Effort Maximizer Combat Item and/or Nico's Double Up make it even better. The idea being to get a lot of Iron Man cards in your hand via Quick Blast and Leave It To Me, use Precision and then fire off your Surgical Strike. Make sure to hit one foe at least twice (and get the KO) to make the card play free, then spread the Marks and soften the enemies for more Quick Blasts. Do it again if you feel the need. Hellfire Beam is your big finisher, and using Precision before playing it is a good idea so that you keep the power ups ready for the next group of enemies. Four of these cards generate 2 Iron Man cards when played, and 2 keep the next Iron Man card played in your hand. You get to Mark pretty much whoever you want as a Free card play, which turns your Hellfire Beam into a Free card play as well. Four of your cards also grant 2 redraws, and two of those are Free card plays (meaning you can realistically get 9+ redraws each turn). The only cards in the deck that always count as card plays are the two Leave It To Me cards, and simply having one or both of those in your hand without playing them is fine since they boost your Surgical Strike. I would recommend playing at least one Leave It To Me every two turns to get Fast, and you can often play two in a turn if you want to. Having extra moves is nice, but since Hellfire Beam is the only attack that needs it and Surgical Strike is intended to be the heavy lifter of this build, it's not essential. Hellfire Beam itself isn't really essential to this build, but it's a nice use for all those redraws and it can be fun to see the big damage numbers.
Lately I've been playing almost exact same build only with 1 Blast (draw hero card on KO) and single mark target. with that much self draw, your Mark target will always find way back into your hand, you can bring utility belt to guarantee it for fringe cases and having another (Forceful) knockback is useful
for me, the best team in the entire game hands down bar none is Tony, Strange, and Logan. they are so so good together. and there's flexibility there with Tony and Logan. ave a support and dps deck for both of them. when you get tired of playing Tony carry swap him to his support build and bring Logans dps build. so much fun. and so efficient
Regarding New Plan+, I don't think you can get Free on it, even though the "Draw a Heroic card" is the card's + effect. After a couple hundred rolls, I've yet to see Free, Heroism +2, Draw Last Attack, or Apply 2 Strengthened as options. +2 Redraws may be the best option. New Plan+ can also get Redraw to Gain 1 Heroism, but the mod doesn't provide a benefit - if you attempt to redraw the card, it gets discarded and replaced instead, and if you use the card it'll only grant the normal doubled heroism.
If you're running the hellfire build just bring a full mark support Wanda and then Dr. strange. Bring an item for redraws and bring an item to increase moves. Should be able to position easily and never worry about running out of card plays while nuking everything. Ditch air superiority for hellfire and replace mark targets with 2x heads up.
Why do people like video games to be hard? Why would you play a video game on the hardest difficulty? Life is hard enough. I play video games to relax and I have high blood pressure it's just kinda silly to me, if Iron man is like cheating that is exactly what I will do😊
Everyone has their own meaning of fun. The harder, more challenging a game is. The fun for me is figuring out how to min max my way to reducing that difficulty. It’s a puzzle to me and the harder the difficulty. The more moves required to solve said puzzle. When a game is too easy on the other hand. I often feel there is nothing for me to do but go through the motions of slogging through it and I get bored and turn it off. In fact games that I play on hardest mode, I often quit once I’ve mastered and overcome the challenge. Cause now it’s going through the motions and I k ow I can beat the game. Very few games have held my attention to the end with insane challenge. Xcom was one of them. Faraxis made that and midnight suns. So I expected more challenge from this game. Bit sad 😢
@@Channel5Gaming I completely understand that I'm 52 and playing videogames for literally for more than 35 years I'm probably burnt out don't mind me 🤣🤣🤣
You have Utility Belt, so I think Leave it to me is really a waste. New Plan doubles your heroism AND draws a herioc card, so its much better than Leave it to me.
Im using Leave it to me for the 4 heroism, 2 redraws and 2 fast. The 2 card draws is just a bonus. No doubt New Plan is a good card, but with my support hunter I feel I don't need to double heroism.
Leave it to me is one of the best cards in the game for how much value you get in a single card, compare values between new plan and there is no point of comparison, but if you prefer new plan use it, no one said is a bad card, also utility belt is a resource waist if you don’t bring Doctor Strange
@@bernype8108 I generally always bring Strange with Ironman. But for the debate of resourse wasting. I generally find anything you can craft at the battle item station to be fairly cheap and easy to make. It's the items in at the CALDRON that are super tough to remake, and those items I tend to only use with doctor strange. My current game I have like 20 utility belts. So i'm not apposed to using them without Strange.
I was wondering why you were laughing so much while watching this and i just finished the build, and did my first mission.... I was hysterically laughing the whole time. unbalanced lmaooo
Bro why Quick Blast with "+2 Heroism"mod, that's a waste... Change that Quick Blasto for "Strength on OK" mod, keep the other Quick Blast as "Draw Iron Man card" as it is and you will decimate even more with the combination of Strength + Overpowered(150% offense)

How many hours have you played so far !
This is awesome .. I am doing exactly the same with Ironman .. pretty broken
Did these guides at the beginning of 2023. But I clocked in 650 hours on this game!
Is it still possible to get draw iron man card on quickblast?

What options are in the seed pool for "Draw Iron Man Card on KO" for Quick Blast... I never see it come up.
Does +1 move mod roll into gain +2 Heroism? if not, then which stat does?
I’m late to the party but did Iron Man get nerfed?
I’m new to this game so how you you increase strength, willpower, critical etc.?
They can come up as bonuses for daily training, or use Morbius research terminal
Iron man is my favorite Marvel character.
Hello, how do you increase your heroe's stats?
By doing daily training
Between free plays and redraws, Iron Man in the most broken character in Midnight Suns!
