Great vid. Love Wanda too. I didn't realize the power of draw 1 Wanda on quick toss. That's a game changer. What I really like is detonate (free) synergizing with Hunter's deadly ground which places 3 explosives. I'm not sure if deadly ground can roll free yet - mine currently has draw 2. Other skill cards can so it seems reasonable. Detonate plus 6 deadly ground explosives plus whatever is naturally in the environment plus her huge radius does a lot of damage to everything including your frame rate.
Detonate and explosives doesn't scale though, but clearing the battlefield from all the minions and pesky monuments is surely speeds up the game even on U3. I wish there were more difficulties though...
Scarlet Witch and Dr. Strange are characters that this type of game really seems to play to the strengths of so I'm very pleased they wound up being exceptionally powerful.
So, i play on normal, but, my Scarlett build is: Hex Bolt, Hex Bolt, Quick Toss, Quick Toss, Hex Mark, Hex Mark, Unleashed, Detonate. I have free on Unleashed and Detonate. I have, dry a Scarlett card, and draw last attack played on my Hex Marks. Detonate is a great, one shot killing machine. It can be a great filed clearing, or big enemy damaging opener, but, Detonate is hit and miss, but, given the rest of her kit, Scarlett is a beast.
I’ve been through most of your videos for my second play through. It’s been a big help so far, so thank you for going so in depth with everything, especially the modding system. One question, did you ever make a Hunter’s guide? I don’t see anything on your midnight suns playlist. I’m sure you have moved on from this game by now. I was just wondering if I was missing a guide for your best Hunter somehow. Thanks again for all your hard work.
I think the main reason for disliking her you already answered at the introduction. When someone gets her she can't do shit with her normal kit, while other heroes are already playable to say the least. I think she has the potential for greatness IF you manage to farm tons of credits and materials to finally be able to get many of her cards as free and quick, but at the same time that is also true for other characters and possibly as support they are pretty close if not higher unless for the mark potential, though you can also mark with other heroes. Still think she is pretty good. Can't say its the best for me. I'm pouring tons of resources farming for her and she is still quite unreliable without the best mods, contrary to other heroes. What I can agree is that she seems to be one of the most fun characters, that's easy to see with her mayhem type of skills XD.
I really like the idea of running Scarlet witch and Venom because my lord I think together they can make any hand a 1 turn win hand if the mission type allows it since if you don`t pull "Assimilation" you can use "Quick Toss" and "Hex mark" to be a budget version. I want to use her "No more" but really dislike the idea of her dying, A restore health on KO mod should be possible as it does drop on those card types. Ill give it a couple spins and come back with an edit if I have any luck. I will say I don`t know if it will work because I think it goes Explosion > Card and Mod effects > Kills Wanda. So it would go Use card > Deal damage > Heal > Kill Wanda.

Love the guide, really helped my analysis paralysis. But regarding No More: does getting less than 3 stars really do anything other than hurt your ego? Stars only influence gloss rewards which you probably don't care a whole lot about anymore if you have enough hours into the game to reach this point. I mean, big explosions are still fun enough to be worth it, right?
14:15 where you say the game is designed to mod your cards, I would argue it is designed to punish you for wanting to mod your cards or experiment with them. It doesn't openly (in game) tell you what mods can go where or why. It chokes you of resources. It punishes save scumming hard making it way more time consuming then any non pay to win mobile game has any right to be! Then to top all that off they added Denuvo's anti-tamper bloatware so that even if you wanted to reduce the grind this in single player game its almost impossible. I love the game, and Wanda in it but damn I am frustrated with 2k.

9:58 Not inately though, you need to have the wolverine research done, otherwise you wont get a card from tossing an enemy into an ally. It's easy to get, but still as a tutorial, you might want to explain that.
I wanna know how you get so many credits for all the awesome character mods. I’m doing credit missions over and over just to get enough. I wish the Shield Exchange gave more credits or more opportunities for trading blueprints or maybe essence for credits.
I think you're referring to Lifesteal near the end of the video. That should leave her at full health, but unfortunately it still counts as a KO. Phoenix Flame (Combat Item) is another way to revive her if you need to. That said, the game gives you tons of Gloss, so it's not like you really need to 3 star every mission.
Looks like she’s good to use. Just like Nico. Since alot of characters don’t have AOE attack. Just started playing and I’m level 9. Just chain attacks and i been using environmental kills. Along with knock back attacks to clear groups of enemies. Trying to get more AOE attacks for my team. Since I just started playing. Wish i could get Hulk or Wanda already.
Would using lifesteal keep her alive when using no more gonna try that, thanks for the build I thought she was trash till u showed me half he stuff can be free 🙌
She's a team saver for real but compared to hunter who can heal and do specific targeted high damage and multiple quicks she kinda pales in comparison. I do like playing her tho. But truly hunter is just better. Dr Strange too. Oh man idk if u play Dr Strange but his legendary ability is amazing. U can save and buff teams. Redraw attacks. Enhance attacks. AND his legendary ability pretty much clears the map when enhanced. I mean u will get KOs u like captain america or even captain marvels ability. It's even better than annihilation imo
The skill that lets you detónate and enemy is way better than chaos reigns as it deals damage as well as makes the overcharged enemy lose a turn and it also has that effect with villains i cant believe that card not even got mencioned xd
There is a "Recover health (100%)" mod for multi target as per wiki. Has anyone tried it and does it prevent KO? (This is different from/ not lifesteal)
She can't roll that. I literally just rolled it for Hex Field. Reloaded and tried to get it rolled fort No More, and it doesn't appear as an option. I think it rolls the mods in the No Damage pool, which has a Recover Health mod, but I've rolled it at least a hundred times and never seen it as an option on No More.
I just cant get scarlett witch to slap. Man she feels so weak. Even in the final Hulk mission, i keep getting one shotted on ultimate 2. Even when i fight general missions against the maiden. Venom, blade, wanda are always getting one shotted. And Hulk keeps one shotting Iron Man. I just cant get it. Storm is turning out to be a hard build too.
I think Scarlet Witch is worth it almost exclusively for the Free AoE Marked you get on her. Iron Man has it too but you need to use a Redraw which is vital for him.

I didn't get it at first either. Let me try to clarify. Go open the gamma coil from your last missions you haven't opened yet. Go directly to the Yard (DO NOT INTERACT WITH CHARLIE). Go to mod tab in yard. Pick card you want to try and mod. The first two options will ALWAYS be the same depending on your card. The second option is where the seeding order comes in. All cards in the class you're rolling (no damage, single target damage, or multiple target damage) will have the same options in the same order, EXCEPT THE FIRST CHOICE FOR EACH DIFFERENT CARD. So, if you come across Free for a skill card on your second mod roll, that will be there on the second mod roll for ANY skill card you try to roll (unless it's a draw card skill, but that's the exception to that rule). But, let's say you get +2 Heroism on the third roll, you CAN'T put Free on one card and get the +2 Heroism on the next roll if it's on a different card, since every card has a specific set of "first roll options." But, using this strategy, you can roll and see what options you have, then you can strategize what cards you want to put which available mods on. Just remember that if you want to use a specific roll, you need to roll a mod on the card you want at least one "spot" before the mod you want to add. Hope this kinda helps.
I hate that I have to watch this video. She’s the only hero I feel is lack luster. There is a reason Reddit saying she’s terrible….she is, that’s why this video exist.
her No more can roll free so if you wanna use it just pop one of those heally potions. well looks like lifesteal dosnt work anymore on it unless i'am bugged. She used to pop right back up again so this card is garbage now, more so then when lifesteal worked on it. She's still a supper awesome support character.
I was slapping with blade early game but i just cant do it now. He just gets knocked the fuck out so easily. Any damage on him or one shot from bosses. I only bring him along with tanks like captain america and wolverine to protect him but still.... I have all my builds complete with legendary except for wanda and storm (and hulk) i actually play better with dead pool now. Im would turn down the difficulty but my Hunter and Iron man are too OP.
I actually don’t like her at all. I rock Hunter, blade, and wolverine. It’s laughable how easy the game is with that lineup. All the witches are stupid and boring.
You need to add a regular build for people that dont have all the legendary ability rolls. Ive played for over 100 hours and im nowhere near your cards. Maybey come back to earth for your viewers and have a lil section at the end to explaine whats possible. Basically im saying nobody else but you is min maxing this game to the point that you are. I however enjoy the crazy stuff so maybe just show us 2 builds. One that is actually dooable in a single playthrough and they crazy one for those of us obsessed with the game
If you just wanna burn through the game just leave it on heroic or below, it's totally doable. He has a great guide on how to get the perfect decks for each toon, by using the forge for minimal resources.
I am at max difficulty without minmaxed characters (i.e. i don't have any quicks or free, jee) and it's sometimes a real pain so i spend an hour or two on one mission restarting it over and over. But. Even just randomly modded cards help a lot. And since you get only epic and legendary coils at the end (2 cards out of 5 with rerolls) for played caracter, and crafting cards on demand makes getting some cards insanelly easy. Not all heroes are great without mods, and some heroes just suck (looking at you, Ghost Rider and nico), but otherwise game is beatable on max difficulty, but you just have to accept that some heroes require more than just a legendary card to be at least viable and you have to adjust to particular maps. Like getting chains characters for nest mothers or stuns/binds for "hack 3 stations". Those make me suffer the most.

You can run Deadly Grounds with Spider-Man to make him more dangerous.

It is nice to see, but you can do it ONLY because you have modded FREE on every card possible. What if you have a commun mod ?
I use Hex Charge on marked minions to refill cardplays. Must be modded free of course.

Let me try to clarify.
