I love thunderstorms! Anyway...I've often wondered why manufacturers sacrifice repairabilty and maintainability for easy of manufacture. Well, I answered my own question, didn't I? I recall watching an episode of "Fifth Gear" about 10-15 years ago. Following the manufacturer's instructions,, they had to remove the front wheel and the adjacent fender to change an indicator or a headlamp bulb! Compared to that...you two got off easily. I hope all your bulbs LAST a l-o-n-g time.
My favorite is f-body Camaros requiring you to drop the entire rear end in order to replace a fuel pump, unless you feel like cutting up the body to make an access panel :)
Man, I would love to have a set of small strong hands I could slip in and out of! My hands don't fit modern machinery.
#1 rule working on cars, remove all jewelry.
Thanks for the reminder! That’s why I wear a silicone ring, gotta remind my wife!
