Diagnosing Headlight Issues on 2011 Mazda 3 - Replacing Xenon HID Bulb and Ballast

Figured I'd upload a video detailing my steps to diagnose headlight issues for my 2011 Mazda 3, and replacing the Xenon bulbs and ballast. Learn from my mistake: test the components before you buy replacement parts!

Thanks for the video. Best by far. My light just went out, and I do see water droplets inside. so I am hopeful the draining will help it.

How do you test the balest? I'm not to sure how to use a voltage meter so a video or an explanation would be much appreciated.

I have 2011 cx7 with halogen head lights.CAN I replace a used hid head light capsule to changecovetcto hid? Is the main connectors the same.? Please help Ty jeff

Mine had a broken seal where the water is coming into the headlight and causing moisture and all that, but i can’t find where the leak is coming from and i don’t know how to re seal it

Helo, mine is flickering on one side, sometimes it even shuts down then i have to restart it and goes back, what can be the problem?

If u buy the cheap ballast….its only gonna last a couple months🤦‍♂️ better of buying a new one for $300 on autozone
