Appreciate this video, I had changed my oxygen sensor and had no idea I needed to reset the parameters.🙄 It may explain why there was only a small improvement.

Great video! At 25:15, on Alfa 159 you can turn off the beeping when you lock/unlock your car by changing the country to holland :)
Thanks, you're spot on, not just 159 but other models from that generation as well as GT, 147.
GT owner in the UK. I like the beep, lets me know it locked (not that anyone would steal it haha}
Fantastic, to see and see many times. The equipment is not expensive, if you have the time to use it. I'd love to have the time to act on it. I haven't even had time to connect my new android radio....soon it will become obsolete😕

Hi. Any tips on how to get the ELM327 adapter to connect to the ECU? I can only source V1.5 locally. I bought four different adapters but still no luck. It connects to friends cars and my Volvo but it does not connect to my Alfa 156 ECU. Tried choosing different ECU versions from the list but no luck. I even bought the Wifi and Bluetooth versions but struck out. Is there a specific cable that definitely works? I have a 2005 Alfa 156 2.0 TS
Hello when i try to connect on the airbag module with my elm327 connector and the red adapter on my 147 it says no response from ecu do i need a KKL (blue) connector in combination with the red adapter aswell?
Thanks,very helpful video for a new user like me.I changed my calipers over and have bled the brakes but they are still spongy on starting so i think i have air in the abs system.If i want to bleed the Abs using multiecuscan,do you know if the car should be running?

I'm curious about multiscan, as someone who likes to use his pc for software like inpa for BMWs. But I see on google apps there is a Alfa obd app for about $50 Australian. Hmmm

Thanks, those are the common messages that pop up when scanner attempts to scan those modules...

Hi. Software is a Multiecuscan 4.6 registered version, the cable is ELM 327 modified(meaning that they solved the resistance issues)...

Well my selespeed gearbox is stuck in first gear. It won’t change into any other gear. So that means I can’t start the car because it has to be in neutral. So I just wanted to know will multiecuscan diagnose the problem without it running. I’m just waiting for my elm 327 to arrive in post.
It might. But when I test for gearbox issues, I drive the car and follow the parameters looking for problems...

15:09 - Since I don't want to break my ABS unit and I want to change the old brake fluid, the garage where I'll go doesn't have the MultiECUScan but they use a pressure device tot change the fluid. I also have a 156 and they've done it straight, since I don't have any options in the MES for 156's ABS. So, if I change the brake fluid, I should to this first for GT and after that put in new brake fluid and use their pressure changing device? By the way, the brakes in my GT are worse than 156. :| They don't bite as hard as the 156 does. Both of them have the same Textar brake pads allarround.
You can change a brake fluid without using a MES or any kind of pressure device. The process is very simple, all you need is a buddy to pump the brake pedal, and you need to start releasing the fluid just as you would do when you do a brake bleed. Always start from the furthest wheel, and work your way up. Also you got to make sure that your brake reservoir is always full during the process, so it doesn't suck in the air. We might actually do the video on it, since I got to do it on my GT as well...

It depends on what you want to do...
@@arcgarage Main aim is scanning and clearing the fault codes, and maybe reading the live data. The free version supports these functions, doesn't it? What cable is needed for these tasks?

It depends which modules do you want to access, if you want all, then you have to buy all cables except purple and yellow adapter...

Also I think I need to change one of my window computer as the window doesn't automatically drop a few cm when I open the door but does go down without a problem using the switch. Would I need to do a proxy alignment if I fit a new one? If so, I will need to get this program for sure
No problem, you're right. When it comes to window controls, try window reprogramming if you already did not, here's the link th-cam.com/video/Ph73_9_2KvU/w-d-xo.html. If you decide to get new unit, you need to do proxy alignment. You can do it with MES or any other good diagnostic tool...
@@arcgarage the resets works for a while but after getting in and out a few times it stops. I think the module is dying or something. Anyway you're a hero man helping keep Alfas going around the world 💪🏼💪🏼

Just a little update for anyone with the same problem;
My window wasn't automatically dropping a few cm when opening the door but was otherwise working fine so I changed the window module behind the door card and it's fixed 👍🏼
when you changed the ports before connecting to the airbag, is it just a downloaded port that you load that allows you to open the airbag system? or do you have a bunch of different adapters that unlock certain systems? Curious on how to check faults of all systems. Great video!

not sure if you know about race mode install on giulia 2.0 but you need to reset proxi alignment. I had to plug in the blue cable in first, success, then plugged the grey cable in & everything was failing. I restarted the whole process & everything worked. Now i have race mode but my door locks are messed uo. Sometimes they dont work when you press them, sometimes they do. Also the light on the door lock turns on/off when it wants to. Only had a couple hours in the car today but if you know where i would go or what i have to do to reset it, it would help A LOT! Thanks!!

broo thanks for the settings I wonder why it couldn't connect to my 147 ts. I have that elm Bluetooth one but mine where at default something else. Gonna try to connect it again .

@@arcgarage yes you are right. I didn't have any luck connecting to the ecu. I even tried another elm327 with usb but no luck. I don't know If Im going to get that cable since I have the "right side light failure" and a funny thing yesterday I managed to get rid of the left error by cleaning the plastic holder with sandpaper. But the right still can't remove the error. Maybe I should change the whole part. But the light functions its just the error I want to get rid off.

No, you can't use MES for that, I would take the car to pros...
Great video. Does this work for all models ... i see for AR 147 only 1.9 jtd ... does this apply on all models like Jtdm 8v or 16v ... are those supported?

Hi ARC Garage. I have changed my speedo cluster, can I, and how can I program in the new cluster? ( got the blinking odometer) Just bought the MultiEcuScan program (50eur version) and the cables arrived today. I read that I can program new component to the car. but really don't know how.

Is it possible to turn off ”side light warning” without changing the bulb? I don’t want to see it every time I start my car, and I want to wait until main low beam (xenon) needs replacing since it is a bumper off job.
You can't turn off the warning, bulb replacement is the only solution...
@@arcgarage In fact, you CAN turn off the warning, by disconnecting the STATUS pin of the chip controller VNQ810M from the inside circuit of the Body Computer. That way you will never be warned regarding burned out bulbs as the BC will never get a signal for corresponding STATUS pin.

@@arcgarage Yes, that is rather a hardware modification. Anyway, it is a solution :) also it works for turn signal led hyperflash.

Hi I have problem with connection, only once I connect to a body 😑 I set up everything but once I connect then test for obd shows times out message and then connection failed check obd connection or port any advice 😀 thanks
