Except that it is in there. One had to look no further than the first amendment to find it. Here is the full first amendment:

It's a nice thought to hear her say that and get emotional, but the fact of the matter is that she's wrong which just makes her and the movie a little silly looking.
That is in an amendment but not in the actual constitution. The amendments are exactly what the name suggests: an amendment to the constitution. Rather than the constitution itself.

you do realize you are talking about the bill of rights not the US Constitution, the constitution sets up how the government is to be run, not the rights of the people. "We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America." this is the first part of the constitution.

I finished the movie just few minutes ago. In the end, I didn't realize I had tears streaming down my face. All the tension and anticipation bubbles were bursting. I could feel this relief, pride and joy, so glad that someone like Ruth & Martin exist in this world. Bravo!!

No, not really. No matter how you look at it, it's a biographical film about the current associate justice of the supreme court.
The only way a movie like this could be "generic" is if it was made up.
The story might be real, but the topic and tme to cast it are generic. It's easy to sell this story now. Wouldn't sell a couple years ago. So it's pretty damn generic.
Great movie, I saw it in theaters and was so uplifted by it. Every woman should watch movie so that she knows that she can do anything. Every man should watch this to see that woman have just as much if not more chances as men to make changes in the world and get things to be more equal and available for everyone.
Must feel good to be great enough to have a movie made about your life, in your lifetime. How many people ever reach that level in any field? Incredible

Everyone commenting about the 50 Shades of Grey song being used, I think it works perfectly for the beginning "It is a man's world" it's being used to further to point of the movie. The song was used in 50 Shades of Grey but it's not a bad song, and the song at the end Can't Knock Me Down by Anna Mae is simply amazing. This trailer is amazing, I'm siked for the movie, stop bringing 50 shades of grey into it because the two used the same song, give me a break.

I could not disagree with Mrs. Bader Ginsburg more on any political topic she's publicly shared her opinions on, but I'm so glad for her progressing womens' rights in the more traditional sense - making their voices heard, treating them as total equals in the eyes of the law - those things, I am so happy for Justice Ginsberg for! Hope this movie sells well!

Wasn’t really interested in what kept coming up on the news, so when this trailer popped up randomly while i was just chilling on youtube, i didn’t skip the ad. Not that that was hard, but the fact that i kept watching shows that people like me have been living under a rock. We needed to be awaken from what is basically a blackout from society...
