  • I RAN 300 SHOTS ON TWO DIFFERENT CAMS ON TWO DIFFERENT LS MOTORS AND GUESS WHAT HAPPENED? THE DIFFICULTY OF GETTING THE NITROUS MOTOR TO MAKE POWER DID NOT COME FROM THE MAGIC CAM TIMING, BUT RATHER FROM OTHER THINGS-LET'S TALK TECH!

    The advantage to long duration and milder cam lift is you are not going to be stressing the valve springs near as much.

    Camshafts that lose torque down low are really good for nitrous since nitrous gives so much torque off the line

    Richard generally if you're grabbing a bone yard motor and don't have the budget to go grab a replacement is there a maximum size hoarse power size you would say do not exceed x amount or you risk faliure.

    Billy Goldbold said they spread the lsa to control tq on bigger shots of nitrous.

      They might be controlling the NA torque curve-the nitrous just adds to what is there

    Have you thought about how much more ex. The nitrous engine is making and getting it out during the blow down phase so the engine doesnt have to push it out during the ex. stroke

      I have thought about the 30+ years worth of actual back to back dyno results on cams and running nitrous often.

    how important is heating a nitrous bottle if only running a 50-75 shot on a mild 4 banger?

      the higher the pressure in the bottle (from heating it), the more nitrous it will flow, but you can always jet up for lower bottle pressure on small shots.

    Do you believe progressive set ups are harder on the nitrous/fuel solenoids?

      solenoids don't have an infinite cycle life, so a progressive system that PWMs the solenoids will reduce the life

    The deal with nitrous is onening the exhaust valve Sooner and running an exhaust system to get the exhaust out

    HOW MUCH TIMEING CAN I RUN WITH A SBC 7PSI ON E85 I CURRENTLY HAVE THE TIMEING LOCKED OUT AT 36*. THANKS CHRIS
