Already available, though it might be sold out right now. You can buy it from Brownell's, just like the night sight and the fiber sight. Also, remember that all the sights are interchangeable between the Cobra, King Cobra, and Python. If you see a sight advertised for one, it'll fit them all as long as it's the new screwed design.
The gold bead pat sights are not available anywhere. I know they exist, as some of the King Cobras already come with them, but I'm not spending another 1000 dollars for a front sight for my 1500 dollar Python by buying a KC for the sight. Colt has promised these sights for several years now for the Cobra line, but they are never for sale. Colt says buy them from Brownells, and Brownells says what gold bead sights? No one has them, and no one makes them. I have zero interest in a front night sight, or one with a fiber optic pipe.
Another vote for the night cobra with a spurred hammer. Top of my snubby wish list would be a night king cobra. Yip, just like the night cobra but in .357 with a hammer spur option.
Sweet revolver! I love my new Cobra however the all steel guns can get a bit like carrying a brick around at the end of the day. Im surprised Colt hasnt brought back the light weight alloy frame Cobra yet. It cant be hard to do especially with new age alloys are much stronger now than they were back in the old days. S&W Airweights sell like hot cakes so the market is there however this would be a 6 shot lightweight revolver with the sweet double action Colt trigger pull. Big winner there!
I bought 3 Night Cobras and got really lucky. Somehow one of them snuck out of the factory with a spur hammer and functioning DA/SA trigger. Otherwise, it’s 100% Night Cobra and came in a Night Cobra box.
It was offered as the Colt Cobra Special (COBRA-MB2WBB). It has the same finish, but it functions as a double action as well as a single action and comes with the old Detective Special style wooden grips. Hence the "special."
I guarantee the site backs out before a box of ammo is done, emailed colt 2 weeks ago about a normal cobra doing this, no reply. If you buy a colt firearm you are on your own and will probably have to glue at least one part.

Just picked up a S&W M&P Bodyguard 38; this'll be my next revolver purchase. Tbh it looks sexy... and an extra round of 38 spl doesnt hurt either.

I also concur....the Colt is just too heavy to lug round, for now I will keep my Airlight ....that I carry lots and shoot little.....

Start making the Cobra with a removable hammer shroud like they used to be.
