I definitely have to do more practicing if I want to carry this piece , jersey law requires you to pass a shooting test up to 25 yards with your chose of fire arm . Haha and I’m not hitting anything passed 2 yard with this thing hahahah
Can you rent or get a Colt Python or 3"or 4" King Cobra from the range? Might help you get used to the trigger/sight picture at longer range. Then start practicing with the 2" model. Experiment with different ammo and find out where you're hitting. Start at 3 yds and work your way up to 25. Hopefully that will help you dial in.
I rented a some type of ruger revolver but it was horrible the grip was so short it was a scary gun to shoot , I’ll definitely try to get my hands on something a bit longer . I’m sure that’ll make a big difference
I would suggest shooting it nothing but double action as doing so WILL make you a better shooter I routinely have people ask how I got to be so good and I give all the credit to learning DA trigger control When firing DA you are using the long pull to maintain front sight focus, align the sights, and stay on target Trigger control is one key to fast accurate shooting, learning to master the DA revolver will translate to SA shooting 1,000-2,000 rounds learning that trigger and you'll be surprised how good of shooter you can become
I have so much trouble shooting double action the long trigger pull kills me . But I definitely will do more shooting double action wise , it’s a “tricky” gun but definitely a great way to improve your aiming with firearms in general
Yea exactly but the issue was I wanted to carry this and in order to carry in New Jersey you have to qualify at 25 yards . Thank so far I love this thing
thank you . I personally believe it would be . Shooting the gun compared to other brand (wheel) guns you can feel huge difference as far as quality and structure ! Definitely try one out ! Best thing about colts it’s self . It’s an “investment” value just increases as time goes by !
Nothing at all performs great !! Not much to go wrong when it’s such a simple design. Definitely go for it but if you can rent out one . It’s not the most comfortable to shoot n definitely something you have to get used to . It fall in love from the beginning
@@sparky_-mf2cs got it back and it’s fixed but they didn’t leave any notes for the exact issue for whatever reason.. but the hammer or striker plate was binding up to where halfway thru the trigger pull, you would hit a wall and took a lot of force from that point to finish the trigger pull. Then when the hammer strikes, you could see the firing pin wasnt actuating
I’m having so much luck with it was shooting this past Saturday did better than before ! No complains yet 200rounds of .38 and 100 rounds of 357 loving this thing
Really great gun❤
I have the 2" King Cobra Carry model that I started carrying every day. Love it!

I second the da trigger making "you" much better 😎
Don't worry about distance buddy. 2 and three inch barrels are made for up close and dirty. Nice revolver.

I would be interested to know which Ruger revolver you tried was piece of crap hard to believe
They come in matte finish.
put the brass dot in the gutter sight and thats how you aim it
I’ll keep practicing maybe I’ll have to stop playing with the Glock just so I can perfect my shot with this thank you
flitz or metal polish will make the cylinder face look like new.
I definitely will have to try out both brands see which does better thank you !
Yep, fitz on the finish works wonderfully, I've used it for many years on many things, including my firearms!
nice, hows it holding up now, any issues?
You are correct the ruger is pos. Colt is much better. I will get one soon.
Is this fun to soot 357 out of?
Good review. Will this be a good first wheel gun?

That’s a beautiful revolver any issues with it at all ? I’m thinking of getting one . Cool review bro..

@@CITYHILLBILLYS thanks brother I appreciate it.. now all I have to do is find one..
Be sure to put a few hundred rounds through it at least, before the warranty runs out. Put 100 thru mine and just had to send in for repair.
Send it in for what?

Pooolish finish. Kindergarten review.
@@earldelsanto you’re right. I’m doing this just to share the little that I know
Aim down under the 🎯
Definitely one way to look at it as I’m always anticipating the shot and shooting above the targets thank you
Wrong 3 inch barrel absolutly not 3 1/4 my amegio.
*amigo
No body gives a rats ars about the box
Nj sucks dude. They make it so difficult to carry here.
