**SassyCat update** had another vet visit yesterday as she's clearly still in pain. Turns out her tail has been damaged too, she'll get an xray in the next week, and may need her tail amputating 🙀 Please send her all your healing pussycat vibes 😽
I certainly like your apparent lifestyle, and I hope to emulate it someday. But getting to the how to a little sooner seems better. Thank you, I will be following this technique tonight.
Thankyou from Australia going to do this tonight for the family hubby and 3 boys they haven't had this before so they will love it Sour cream chives bits of bacon maybe some baked beans as toppings Yum Yum!😋 It's Autumn here now and this weekend put the clocks back 1 hr and get a sleep in!
love it !!Thanks ,might just build a Far as we East Texans call it , chunk in a couple em taters , & couple ribeyes over the coals as i consume several good cold Beers !!
Oh that looks fab, I love a crispy skinned jacket pot ! So sorry to hear about Sassy and her tail injury, hope she feels better soon. Because of you I drink the best coffee now I have an Aeropress. I am a coffee addict and it really is the best way to make coffee, especially in the campervan. I ended up buying two, one for home, one for the van, although one is currently in the office and not going back there for a while! x
Time saver tip Poke knife holes in medium potato Microwave three minutes under damp paper towel Flip - repeat Oil potato & coarse salt - place on foil. Wrap. Can immediately toss on grill .. or save and take for camping to place in fire Microwaved cuts grill or campfire time significantly
Curious of your “Hedgecomber” nom de plume. I ran across your video looking for campfire potato recipes… Do you have any campfire bread or bannock recipes you want to share?
Oooh that's really made me miss the summer!! The camper is parked up now for the winter but we might just have to have fire cooked jacket potatoes in the garden this weekend!! Xx
(Yeah wasn’t expecting to you reply. Was just a simple comment to bump the video but yeah, enjoyed the video and energy a lot. Even enjoyed a potato whilst camping this weekend! )
I think that's an excellent idea Seth! (Honestly, I've never had a potato explode on me, but I have had a couple of sweet potatoes explode before, they made one hell of a mess in the oven!)

Me too!!! Except mine were always burnt on the outside and raw in the middle back then 😆
Great video! Thank you for advising to cover it in two foils, I’ll do that next time I’ll do my campfire potatoes 🫶

It is a lovely way of life Christine, and I've never been more grateful for this space than I have in 2020!
