got one installed today only thing i've found a hassle is you can not open the door unless the program cycle finishes you cannot cut it short (stop it) and then open it....you have to wait.... in this case i'm talking about tumble drying so no water involved

I see my original comment was at least 6 years ago could be nearer 7 years ago I had just purchased this exact model. Have only just bought a replacement after the dryer has only very recently become infficient. Does work but takes an extra 2-3 hours per load. During the 6-7 years I’ve only had to empty the drain pipe by myself once which was dead easy and remove a couple of small balls of fluff by hand from under the door seal - super easy. Had no engineer call outs at all. Decided due to its age and amount of use it was more feasible to replace it altogether. I’ve since bought yet another Bosch washer/dryer. So far I’ve gone through 4 in 18 years all Bosch, next one arrives next week.
Hi John well our Bosch washer/ dryer will be 8 years old this November 2024 and it was well worth the 6+ hundred pounds we paid ,but now we have hit a problem today It has stopped drying .Can you tell me were the ventilation hose is there is reason to believe it could be blocked

I have 87460TR which sometimes won't start initially when I touch START button. It makes a beep sound and ignores the command. After waiting about a 3-4 seconds I touch start again and it starts working without any problem. Any ideas why this is happening?
Stuart Matthews Mine is a 300 series, I load and close, select cycle, but the Start/Pause icon doesn’t flash, I press it , but it beeps twice as it lights up then off...and nothing happens. Although I hear a click (maybe the water valve) when I select a cycle. This is brand new, I never got it to work once. Bosch isn’t helping at all. So freaking frustrating!!!
Thanks for review. Bought the machine after seeing your video. However, there must be something seriously wrong with your hearing if you can't hear this machine during dry or spin cycles - it is nowhere near silent. Quiet, yes. But certainly audible even from an adjoining room.

The dryer is rubbish and the door locks so will only dry for a set time. You have to literally run it for 2 hours at a time. Even if you turn the machine off, then off at the mains, it won't let you open the dryer to check your clothes. Complete waste of money and terrible design.
The dryer is useless, mines wetter after the 2.5 hour cycle than what it started at and because it doesn’t open I have to wait the full amount of time to check

If you ever want a break the glass solution, you'd have to set the mode to Spin/drain once your drying cycle is over. This lets you open the door

how well will it dry? you should of covered the drying part in more detail as this is half the point of the machine

Clothes come out really creased no matter what spin cycle I choose and even if I just put one shirt in. Would never get this washing machine again.

No. It’s effectively a 15 min wash cycle, with the option of drying it too which will take around 45 mins.

you can see the child lock icon where the buttons are, probably you press the rpm and finished in buttons simultaneously.

Pretty crap imo . Doesnt dry clothes properly and hard to unlock the door( Need to fiddle with button settings and wait to unlock the door)
