Tools Used:
-Two different sizes of flat tip screwdrivers.
-Philips screwdriver.
-Two different types of door trim & panel removers.
-1/4in ratchet.
-1/4in extension.
-10mm socket.
-Dielectric grease.

Had a very difficult time removing the top handle latch. Noticed while watching the video you never removed it on camera… did you have trouble too? It’s almost like that latch has some compression that holds it in the plastic clip ring. Anyways, after some serious mani, I got it… but realized you might’ve had some issues too but never videoed that portion.
Watched this video a few times before changing out my trucks driver side door handle. Worked out great! Thank you!

I have the exact same model truck as yours. I don't know how in the heck you got that linkage to pop out of that hole after disconnecting the yellow snap piece on the door handle linkage. It's giving me heck

My passenger door is locked and shut, The key will not turn the lock to unlock door. the pull up luck inside will not pull up to unlock door. The door handle on the inside will not work because the lock is engaged, How can I get the panel off the access the door luck and see why it is stuck locked? Mechanic want $600 just to remove the seat and door panel to get to lock. Can the door panel come off with the door shut?

The driver door took me about 25 minutes and the passenger door took about 20 minutes. It’s not hard to do.
Before I put them in I mixed up some jb weld and put in the new handle where they brake at the weak spot in hopes that they last longer.
Also don’t pull hard on the handle when you open the door. They are only plastic.
Watch your video, but it doesn’t help me because I have a manual window, manual side mirror, neither of which come off the door so…
